Divina Grace D'Anna is an Australian politician. She has been a Labor member of the Western Australian Legislative Assembly since the 2021 state election, representing Kimberley. [1]

A Yawuru, Nimanburr and Bardi woman, D'Anna was born and grew up in Broome, Western Australia. [2]

In August 2020 she was selected to replace the retiring sitting member, Josie Farrer. [3] [4] In her election campaign D'Anna received mentoring from Senator Malarndirri McCarthy through EMILY's List Australia. [2]

2013 Australian federal election Election held on 7 September 2013

The 2013 Australianfederal election to elect the members of the 44th Parliament of Australia took place on 7 September 2013. The centre-right Liberal/National Coalition opposition led by Opposition leader Tony Abbott of the Liberal Party of Australia and Coalition partner the National Party of Australia, led by Warren Truss, defeated the incumbent centre-left Labor Party government of Prime Minister Kevin Rudd by an 18-seat 3.6 percentage point two-party swing resulting in a landslide win for the Coalition. The 44th Parliament of Australia opened on 12 November 2013, which is taken to be the commencement of the term of members of the House of Representatives. The new senators were sworn in by the next Governor-General Peter Cosgrove on 7 July 2014, with their six-year terms commencing on 1 July.

Madeleine Ruth Ogilvie is an Australian lawyer and politician. She was elected to the Tasmanian House of Assembly for the Labor Party in the Division of Denison at the 2014 state election. She ran as a Labor candidate and was defeated at the 2018 state election, but re-entered parliament as an independent in September 2019, replacing Scott Bacon who quit the Parliament. Shortly after the 2021 state election was called, she joined the Liberal Party and ran for re-election in the Division of Clark.
