Wood County is a county located in the U.S. state of Ohio. As of the 2020 census, the population was 132,248. Its county seat is Bowling Green. The county was named for Captain Eleazer D. Wood, the engineer for General William Henry Harrison's army, who built Fort Meigs in the War of 1812.
Route 7 is a state highway in the northern part of New Jersey in the United States. It has two sections, an east–west alignment running from U.S. Route 1/9 Truck in Jersey City to Route 21 in Belleville, and a north–south alignment running from the Newark/Belleville to the Nutley/Clifton border. The New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) lists Route 7 as a single north–south highway with a small gap between the alignments. The entire highway has a combined length of 9.46 mi (15.22 km).
Belleville is a city and the county seat of St. Clair County, Illinois, United States. It is located within Greater St. Louis. The population was 42,404 at the 2020 census, making it the most-populated city in Southern Illinois and in the Metro East region of Greater St. Louis. Due to its proximity to Scott Air Force Base, the population receives a boost from military and federal civilian personnel, defense contractors, and military retirees. It is also the seat of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Belleville and the National Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows.
Millstadt is a village in St. Clair County, Illinois, United States, located at the crossing of Illinois Routes 163 and 158. The village is known for its German heritage, with more than half its people of German descent. The population was 4,011 at the 2010 census, but a more recent study in July 2018 estimated the number at 3,885.
Belleville is a township in Essex County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As of the 2020 United States census, the township's population was 38,222, an increase of 2,296 (+6.4%) from the 2010 census count of 35,926, which in turn reflected a decline of two people from the 35,928 counted in the 2000 census.
The Athens Lunatic Asylum, now a mixed-use development known as The Ridges, was a Kirkbride Plan mental hospital operated in Athens, Ohio, from 1874 until 1993. During its operation, the hospital provided services to a variety of patients including Civil War veterans, children, and those declared mentally unwell. After a period of disuse the property was redeveloped by the state of Ohio. Today, The Ridges are a part of Ohio University and house the Kennedy Museum of Art as well as an auditorium and many offices, classrooms, and storage facilities.
James Alexander Jr. was a United States representative from Ohio. Born near Delta, Pennsylvania, he moved to the Northwest Territory in 1799 with his father, who settled in what is now St. Clairsville, Ohio. He engaged in agricultural pursuits, in river transportation on the Ohio and Mississippi Rivers, and, later, in mercantile pursuits in St. Clairsville. He was a member of the Ohio House of Representatives in 1830 and again in 1833 and 1834, and served as associate judge of the Court of Common Pleas in 1831.

Charles Becker was a German American politician from Bavaria. Immigrating to Illinois with his family in 1851, Becker attended public schools then worked for the Harrison Machine Works. He fought in the Civil War, losing his leg at the Battle of Pea Ridge. He returned to Belleville and became a prominent citizen, holding several local offices before he was elected Illinois Treasurer (1889–1891).
