Dustan (Persian : دوستان‎, also Romanized as Dūstān)^[1] is a village in Shepiran Rural District, Kuhsar District, Salmas County, West Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 609, in 109 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Shepiran Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in Kuhsar District, Salmas County, West Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 10,052, in 1,625 families. The rural district has 17 villages.
