Eastern Star Baptist Church was a historic Baptist church located at Church and Wagner Streets in Tarboro, Edgecombe County, North Carolina. The church was built about 1875, and was a one-story, Carpenter Gothic style building. It was built by a Presbyterian congregation, then moved to its final location and used by the African-American Eastern Star Baptist Church starting in 1906. [2] It has been demolished.
It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980. [1]
Riley Hill School is a historic Rosenwald School building located in Wendell, North Carolina, a town in eastern Wake County. It was built in 1928, and is a one-story, brick building with an H-shaped plan. The five-bay original section has a one-story porch with simple Doric order columns in the Colonial Revival style. The school closed its doors in 1970, but was purchased in 1991 by the Riley Hill Baptist Church. It caught fire on September 25, 2020. Much of the structure was damaged.
First Baptist Church is a Baptist church located at 400 S. Broad Street in Burlington, Alamance County, North Carolina. It is affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention. The church was built in 1922–1924, and is a two-story, brick Neoclassical Revival style church building with stone ornamentation. The front facade features an Ionic order hexastyle portico. The educational building was added in 1939 and a Sunday School and chapel wing in 1953.
The former First Baptist Church, now the Valleytown Cultural Arts Center is a historic Baptist church building at 101 Chestnut Street in Andrews, Cherokee County, North Carolina. The Classical Revival brick structure was built in 1923 for a congregation founded in 1902; it was their second building on the site. The building was used by the congregation until c. 1987, when it was sold to a local nonprofit corporation for use as an arts center.
The Oconaluftee Baptist Church, also known as the Smokemont Baptist Church is a historic Baptist church in Great Smoky Mountains National Park, near Cherokee, North Carolina. It is located off United States Route 441, overlooking the Smokemont Campground of the park. It is a basically rectangular wood-frame structure, 30 feet (9.1 m) wide and 50 feet (15 m) deep. The church's tower projects from the front of this main block, and rises about 10 feet (3.0 m) above the level of the gable roof; it does not have a spire or steeple, and its uppermost section is a louvered belfry. This church building was built in 1912 for a congregation organized in 1836. The congregation's records form a valuable documentation of local history. The church remained in active use until the area was made part of the national park in 1935, and has seen occasional use since then.

It was built in 1924, and is a one-story, rectangular brick church building on a raised basement in the Late Gothic Revival style. It features a tall projecting, corner tower. A two-story addition for Sunday School classrooms, a kitchen, and dining area was built in the 1970s.
St. John's Missionary Baptist Church is a historic African-American Baptist church at 1130 Walt Bellamy Drive in New Bern, Craven County, North Carolina, United States. It was built in 1926, and is a rectangular brick church building on a raised basement in the Classical Revival style. It features a three-stage central entrance tower. It is believed to be the oldest black Baptist congregation in New Bern.

It was significantly remodeled, enlarged, and a new facade added in the early-1950s. The church was slated for demolition in September 2013 and was demolished in September 2015.
Kinston Baptist-White Rock Presbyterian Church is a historic Presbyterian and Baptist church building located at 516 Thompson Street in Kinston, Lenoir County, North Carolina. It was built in 1857–1858, and is a rectangular, temple-form Greek Revival style frame building with a pedimented front gable roof. It features a bold distyle in antis portico with enclosed end bays. The church was built for the Kinston Baptist Church and moved to its present (third) location in 1901 after its purchase by an African-American Presbyterian congregation which it has served since that time.
California Creek Missionary Baptist Church is a historic Baptist church located near Mars Hill, Madison County, North Carolina. It was built in 1917, and moved to its present location in 1937. It is a Gothic Revival style white frame church with Colonial Revival style decorative elements. It has a cruciform plan and paired principal entrances in corner towers on the front facade. A two-story, brick Sunday School annex was built in 1954. The church was sold to private owners in the late-1970s.
Spring Green Primitive Baptist Church is a historic Primitive Baptist church located near Hamilton, Martin County, North Carolina. It was built in 1878, and is a front-gable, frame building with late Greek Revival style design elements. The building measures 36 feet, 4 inches, wide and 55 feet, 4 1/2 inches deep. Also on the property is the contributing church cemetery.
First Baptist Church, previously known as Leaksville Baptist Church, is a historic Baptist church located at 538 Greenwood Street in Eden, Rockingham County, North Carolina. It was built in 1886, and is a Gothic Revival style brick church. It has a hipped roof with intersecting gables and Stick Style decoration in the gable ends. It features lancet windows and a wooden Gothic belfry with pointed steeple centered on the roof. Two Colonial Revival style additions were made to the church in 1934 and 1937.

Forest City Baptist Church, also known as First Baptist Church, is a historic Baptist church building located at 301 W. Main Street in Forest City, Rutherford County, North Carolina. It was designed by architect James M. McMichael and built in 1915. It is a two-story, cruciform plan, Classical Revival style brick building. It consists of an octagonal core surmounted by an eight-sided, slate-covered, pyramidal roof from which rectangular pedimented-gable wings project on the four sides. Adjoining the church is the Alexander Memorial building, built in 1927.
Shiloh Primitive Baptist Church is a historic rural African-American Primitive Baptist church located near Brogden, Johnston County, North Carolina. It was built about 1920, and is a vernacular one-story, gable-front, three-bay, light timber-frame building. The building was also used as a one-room school until the early 1930s. Also on the property is a contributing church cemetery with burials dating from the 1910 to 1987.
Webster Baptist Church, is an historic Southern Baptist church located at the intersection of NC 116 and SR 1340, near Webster, Jackson County, North Carolina. It was built in 1900, and is a one-story, three-bay, rectangular Vernacular Victorian style church. It has a steep gable roof, engaged three stage bell tower, and tall round-headed windows. The church retains its original furniture built and donated by local master cabinetmaker Joseph Warrenton Cowan (1834-1917) and his son, Lawrence Cowan.
