Tirana County, officially the County of Tirana, is a county in the Central Region of the Republic of Albania. It is the tenth largest by area and the most populous of the twelve counties, with more than 895,000 people within an area of 1,652 km2 (638 sq mi). The county borders on the Adriatic Sea to the west, the counties of Durrës to the northwest, Dibër to the northeast, Elbasan to the east and Fier to the southwest. It is divided into five municipalities, Tirana, Kamëz, Kavajë, Rrogozhinë and Vorë, with all of whom incorporate twenty-nine administrative units.
The first neighborhood in Tirana was Bam. The three oldest neighborhoods are Mujos, and Pazari located between the geographical centre and Elbasan Street on either side of the Lanë, and Brraka located east of Zog I Boulevard around modern Haxhi Hysen Dalliu Street.

Kavajë Street is a major street of Tirana, Albania. It is the most important street of western Tirana and runs west from the central Skanderbeg Square for several kilometres and continues further west to the Adriatic Sea. It is known for its prime real estate and some of the most expensive residential apartments in Tirana. The Universal Hospital Tirana is located along this street. It intersects with Bajram Curri Boulevard.

Zhan D'Ark Boulevard is a boulevard of Tirana, Albania. It runs along the north bank of the river Lanë. It was named after the French heroine Joan of Arc. Until recently, it held the name Rruga Marsel Kashen in honor of the French politician Marcel Cachin. The boulevard, along with Bajram Curri Boulevard which runs parallel to it, underwent reconstruction in 2003.
Pjetër Budi Street is a street in Tirana, the capital of Albania. It is named after Pjetër Budi, a 17th-century bishop in the district of Shkodër. It is the main road leading to the Student City and although there are often no sidewalks it is a major pedestrian thoroughfare. It is also where much of the student protests of 1990 began, which gave rise to widespread riots in four of the largest cities in northern Albania.

The Lapraka Airfield or Tirana Aerodrome was an airfield located in Tirana, Albania. It is the former airport of Albania's capital. It used to house an air force regiment with Y-5s, operating from the old runway, and later, from the grass runway. Currently, Lapraka only houses the helicopters of the Albanian government. The airfield is located in the north western part of Tirana, although it is hardly recognizable as such. From the town center, take the Rruga Durresi towards Durres.
The Albanian State Road 2 (SH2), is a dual carriageway in Albania linking the port city of Durrës with the metropolis and the capital Tirana. The road was the first highway to be reconstructed in Albania, following the Fall of Communism in 1991.
The Tirana–Elbasan Highway is a four-lane highway in central Albania and part of the A3 motorway opened to traffic on 16 June 2013, and completed in the summer of 2019. It covers the distance between the cities of Tirana and Elbasan in the shortest way possible and its total length is 16 kilometres (9.9 mi).
On 22 June 1942, the Albanian student trio of Branko Kadija, Jordan Misja and Perlat Rexhepi, who stayed in Misja's house at Firaj Street in Shkodër, were for several hours surrounded by Albanian (fascist) forces and police, numbering some 600 people. The three young friends were members of the Communist Party of Albania, which was established on 8 November 1941 and had begun with smaller detachments of 5-10 people which engaged in various acts of sabotage to the Italian forces, including antifascist propaganda in order to gain support of the masses. After an air bombardment, they rushed out of the house and managed to kill many of the quisling soldiers, but were shot down and instantly killed. The three were proclaimed People's Heroes of Albania for their act, and they are collectively known as the Three Heroes of Shkodër.

Moglicë is a historic village in the Stëblevë commune, Elbasan County, in Albania. At the 2015 local government reform it became part of the municipality Librazhd. Until 1991 Moglicë was under the administration of Dibër, Albania. Since 1991 Stëblevë consists of the villages Borove, Llange, Moglicë, Prodan, Sebisht, Steblevë and Zabzun.
The Highways in Albania are the central state and main transport network in Albania. The motorways and expressways are both part of the national road network. The motorways are primary roads with a speed limit of 110 kilometres per hour (68 mph). They have white on green road signs such as in Italy and other countries nearby. The expressways are the secondary roads, also dual carriageways, but without an emergency lane. They have a speed limit of 90 kilometres per hour (56 mph). They have white on blue road signs.
