Tirana Bank is a bank based in Tirana, Albania. The bank was founded in September 1996 and was the first privately owned bank in Albania. The bank was a subsidiary of Piraeus Bank until August 2018 when the agreement on the sale of Tirana Bank to Balfin Group and Komercijalna Banka was announced. [1] [2]

In 2021, Tirana Bank had a market share of 5.46%, making it the 7th largest bank in Albania. [3]

They are the only football club in Albania with two stars in their crest after winning their 20th league championship in 2003, making them the first and only Albanian club to have achieved this feat to date. They play their home games at the Selman Stërmasi Stadium in Tirana.

The Albanian Football Federation is the governing body of football in Albania. The federation is based in Tirana, Albania. Albania women's national football team, Albanian women's football championship, and the Albanian Women's Cup are also overseen by the FSHF. Radio Televizioni Shqiptar is the national public broadcasting company of Albania. Local elections were held in Albania on 21 June 2015. Voters elected mayors, municipal council members, municipal unit mayors and municipal unit members. The Central Election Commission of Albania was responsible for administrating the elections. This provided that the community type of komuna was abolished and at the same time the total number of communities were reduced from 373 to 61 Bashkia. Those entitled to vote elected the executive and legislative representatives of their communities, the 61 mayors (and on the other hand the total of 1595 municipal councils.
