Endtime Signals is the thirteenth studio album by Swedish melodic death metal band Dark Tranquillity, released on 16 August 2024 by Century Media Records. The album is the band's first to feature bassist Christian Jansson and drummer Joakim Strandberg Nilsson, who replaced longtime members Anders Iwers and Anders Jivarp after the latter two left the band in August 2021. [4] [5] The album also marks the band's return to recording as a five-piece after the previous album, Moment , was recorded as a six-piece.

In Flames helped pioneer melodic death metal along with fellow Swedish bands At the Gates and Dark Tranquillity. The band has sold over two million records worldwide.

Damage Done is the sixth studio album by Swedish melodic death metal band Dark Tranquillity. Here, the band returns to a more classic style while holding the changes made in their albums Haven and Projector, especially in the keyboards, but this is the first record since The Mind's I that does not feature clean vocals. Martin Henriksson started doing some "lead guitar riffs" on the record, so the band showed influences from The Gallery in the duality of lead guitars. Mikael Stanne said that the lyrics on this album are about the frailty of life.

The album also includes the video for "Lost to Apathy", produced by Roger Johansson and a Dark Tranquillity screensaver.

Since the departure of original drummer Anders Jivarp in 2021, Stanne is the only remaining original member of the band. Stanne is also the vocalist for bands Grand Cadaver, The Halo Effect and Cemetery Skyline, which formed in 2020, 2021 and 2023, respectively. He was also an ex-vocalist for HammerFall and In Flames.

<i>Of Chaos and Eternal Night</i> 1995 EP by Dark Tranquillity

Of Chaos and Eternal Night is the second EP by Swedish melodic death metal band Dark Tranquillity. It is the first studio recording by the band featuring Mikael Stanne as the lead vocalist, who switched from playing rhythm guitar to singing after the firing of original vocalist Anders Friden. Consequently, it is also the band’s first studio recording to feature Fredrik Johansson on rhythm guitar. The EP would be Dark Tranquillity’s final release with Spinefarm Records, whose contract with the band expired after its release. The album is made up of three newly-written songs, as well as a new version of the song “Alone” from their debut album Skydancer with re-recorded vocals by Stanne.

Nonexist is a Swedish melodic death/thrash metal group formed by former Arch Enemy vocalist, Johan Liiva. Liiva, guitarist/bassist Johan Reinholdz and drummer Matte Modin. They began playing together as Nonexist in 2000. In May 2002, they released their debut album, Deus Deceptor, on New Hawen Records in Europe and Century Media in North America. The group attempted to put together a touring lineup in 2002, but this never occurred, in part due to the group members' commitment to other projects. In 2003 Liiva and Modin split from the group, leaving Reinholdz the primary member. In 2004 Liiva confirmed the group's demise.

Johan Reinholdz is a Swedish musician best known for his work with the progressive metal band Andromeda, Dark Tranquillity, death metal band NonExist and the melodic death metal band Skyfire. He composed Andromeda's debut album, Extension of the Wish as well as much of its other material. He has also released four more studio albums with Andromeda and two live-album. In 2004 he joined Skyfire and made his album debut on Esoteric in 2009. Since early 2017 he plays with Dark Tranquillity.

In Mourning is a melodic death metal band from Vansbro, Sweden. They are currently signed to Dalapop. They have released six full-length albums with their latest The Bleeding Veil, released in November 2021.

Atoma is the last release to feature founding lead guitarist Niklas Sundin, who would depart from the band in March 2020.

Moment is the twelfth studio album by Swedish melodic death metal band Dark Tranquillity, being released on 20 November 2020 via Century Media Records. The album is the band's first to include guitarist Johan Reinholdz, the final with founding drummer Anders Jivarp and bassist Anders Iwers, who left the band in August 2021, and the only with guitarist Christopher Amott before his departure in July 2023. It is also the first release since We Are The Void (2010) to be recorded as a six-piece.
