Eretmocera coracopis is a moth of the family Scythrididae. It was described by Alfred Jefferis Turner in 1927. It is found in Australia, where it has been recorded from Tasmania. [1]
The wingspan is about 12 mm. The forewings are blackish with an obscure suffused grey-whitish spot on the tornus. The hindwings are dark-fuscous. [2]

During Amsel's career, he authored about twenty-six different Lepidoptera species and genera, and published four books.
