Erick Lopez Rios (born 29 December 1972) is a Cuban male artistic gymnast, representing his nation at international competitions. He participated at the 2000 Summer Olympics and 2004 Summer Olympics as well as the Pan American Games. [1] [2] He also competed at world championship level. [3]
Kim Collins is a former Kittitian track and field sprinter. In 2003, he became the World Champion in the 100 metres. He represented his country at the Summer Olympics on five occasions, from 1996 to 2016, and was the country's first athlete to reach an Olympic final. He competed at ten editions of the World Championships in Athletics, from 1995 to 2015, winning five medals. He was a twice runner-up in the 60 metres at the IAAF World Indoor Championships. At regional level, he was a gold medallist at the Commonwealth Games and a silver medallist at the Pan American Games. As of 2023, he is the only Individual World Championships Gold medallist from Saint Kitts and Nevis.
Vanderlei Cordeiro de Lima is a Brazilian retired long-distance runner. He was born in Cruzeiro do Oeste, Paraná. While leading the marathon after 35 km (22 mi) at the 2004 Summer Olympics, he was attacked on the course by Irish former priest Cornelius "Neil" Horan. Following the incident, Lima fell from first to third place, eventually winning the bronze medal. He was later awarded the Pierre de Coubertin Medal for his sportsmanship shown in that race.
Steven López is an American taekwondo competitor, a 2000 and 2004 Olympic gold medalist and a 2008 Olympic bronze medalist and 4th Dan in taekwondo. Luiz Eduardo Carneiro da Silva de Souza Lima is a long-distance freestyle swimmer and Federal Deputy of Rio de Janeiro from Brazil, who competed at two consecutive Summer Olympics for his native country, starting in 1996. He won the gold medal in the 400-metre freestyle at the 1999 Pan American Games.

Yusneylys Guzmán Lopez is a Cuban freestyle wrestler. She is a gold medalist at the Pan American Games and the Pan American Wrestling Championships. She is also a three-time medalist, including gold, at the Central American and Caribbean Games. Guzmán competed in the women's 50 kg event at the 2020 Summer Olympics held in Tokyo, Japan. Guzmán lost to Vinesh Phogat in semifinal but still qualified to the final round of women's 50 kg event at the 2024 Summer Olympics held in Paris, France as Vinesh Phogat, the original opponent of Sarah Hildebrandt was disqualified before the final game for being overweight by 100 grams. She lost to Hildebrandt, but would win the silver medal.
