Jossimar Orlando Calvo Moreno (born 22 July 1994) is a Colombian artistic gymnast, part of the national team. [1] At the 2015 Pan American Games he won three individual gold medals, becoming in the first Colombian to do so. [2] He competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. He was the first Colombian gymnast to qualify for an Olympic final, ranking tenth in the All-around event. [3]

Colombia competed in the Winter Olympic Games for the first time at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, Canada.

The 2012 Gymnastics Olympic Test Event took place between January 10 and January 18, 2012. The event featured the artistic gymnastics, rhythmic gymnastics and trampoline disciplines. It qualified the last four artistic gymnastics teams for the 2012 Olympic Games, along with 34 individual female gymnasts and 27 individual male gymnasts selected through the all-around competition. Teams that finished 17th to 24th at the 2011 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships were able to take two individuals to the test event. Teams that finished 1st to 8th were invited to send two individual gymnasts, but they were not candidates for individual spots.

The South American Race Walking Championships is a biennial race walking competition organized by CONSUDATLE for athletes representing the countries of its member associations. Races for senior men and women, for junior and for youth athletes are featured. In addition, there are separate team competitions. The event was established in 1989 as South American Race Walking Cup, and was occurring annually at first. The 2001 event was held in conjunction with the Pan American Race Walking Cup. The name as well as the frequency of the competition were changed in 2004.

Alexa Citlali Moreno Medina is a Mexican artistic gymnast. She is the 2018 World bronze medalist on vault, the first Mexican female gymnast to medal at the World Artistic Gymnastics Championships. She represented Mexico at the 2016 Summer Olympics where she was the second reserve for the all-around final and at the 2020 Olympics where she placed fourth in the vault final. She won a silver medal on vault at the 2010 Central American and Caribbean Games and a bronze medal on vault at the 2010 Pacific Rim Championships.
