The Bolivarian Games are a regional multi-sport event held in honor of Simón Bolívar, and organized by the Bolivarian Sports Organization. The XVI Bolivarian Games were a multi-sport event held in 2009 in Sucre, Bolivia. The competitions in Sucre took place from 15–26 November. A number of Bolivian cities hosted some of the sporting events, including Cochabamba, Santa Cruz and Tarija. Also, events were held outside of Bolivia, with Guayaquil, Lima, Quito and Salinas hosting a number of competitions. The Games were organized by the Bolivarian Sports Organization (ODEBO).

The 2013 Bolivarian Games, officially the XVII Bolivarian Games, was a major international multi-sport event that was held from November 16–30, 2013, in Trujillo, Peru, with some events held in Lima and Chiclayo. Approximately 4,500 athletes from 11 nations participated in 44 sports. These Games was the third Bolivarian Games that was hosted by Peru. Previously, Peru hosted the 1947–48 Bolivarian Games and the 1997 Bolivarian Games. Since 2011, Trujillo was preparing the sport buildings for the Bolivarian Games.

Yamilet Peña Abreu is an elite artistic gymnast from the Dominican Republic who won a gold medal at the 2014 World Challenge Cup and the 2012 Pan American Championship in vault and a bronze medal at the 2012 World Cup. She is known for her execution of the Produnova—a handspring double front on vault. She qualified for the vault finals at the 2012 Summer Olympics and the 2011 and the 2013 World Championships.

Jossimar Orlando Calvo Moreno is a Colombian artistic gymnast, part of the national team. At the 2015 Pan American Games he won three individual gold medals, becoming in the first Colombian to do so. He competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. He was the first Colombian gymnast to qualify for an Olympic final, ranking tenth in the All-around event.

The 2017 Bolivarian Games, officially the XVIII Bolivarian Games, was an international multi-sport event that was held from 11–25 November 2017, in Santa Marta, Colombia.

Audrys Nin Reyes is a Dominican artistic gymnast. He is the 2019 and 2023 Pan American Games vault champion. He was the first Dominican gymnast to win a gold medal at the Pan American Games. He was also the first Dominican gymnast to win a gold medal at an FIG World Cup event when he won the vault title at the 2017 Osijek World Challenge Cup. He is the 2017 Pan American vault and horizontal bar champion and the 2017 Universiade vault champion. He is also the 2018 and 2023 Central American and Caribbean Games vault champion. He has qualified to represent the Dominican Republic at the 2024 Summer Olympics, the first male gymnast from his country to do so.

The 2022 Bolivarian Games, officially the XIX Bolivarian Games Valledupar 2022, was an international multi-sport event that was held in Valledupar, Colombia from June 24 to July 5. It was the fifth time of the event in Colombia.

Gymnastics competitions at the 2022 Bolivarian Games in Valledupar, Colombia are being held from 27 June to 3 July 2022 at Coliseo de Ferias and Coliseo of Popular University of Cesar.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">2024 Bolivarian Youth Games</span> Multi-sport event in Bolivia

The 2024 Bolivarian Youth Games, officially known as the I Bolivarian Youth Games "Sucre 2024" and simply known as Sucre 2024, will be the first edition of the Bolivarian Youth Games, a regional multi-sport event for athletes of up to 19 years old, organized by the Organización Deportiva Bolivariana (ODEBO). Originally scheduled to be held in Sucre, Bolivia from 17 April to 1 May 2020, the inaugural edition of the Bolivarian Youth Games underwent several postponements until it was definitively scheduled to be held from 4 to 14 April 2024.
