The European Athletics U23 Championships is a biennial athletics competition for European athletes under the age of 23, which is organized by the European Athletic Association. The oldest of the 'age-group' track and field events held by European Athletics – European Athletics U20 Championships are held in the same odd numbered years, while the European Athletics U18 Championships, previously the 'Youth Championships' are held in even numbered years.

For the athletics competitions at the 2012 Summer Olympics the following qualification systems were in place. The list has been updated to 30 June 2012. Qualification ended on 8 July 2012.

Athletics at the 2011 Pacific Games in Nouméa, New Caledonia was held on September 3–10, 2011.

The South American Under-23 Championships in Athletics is an under-23 athletics competition held between the member associations of the South American Athletics Confederation (ConSudAtle). Rules and regulations are displayed on the ConSudAtle webpage. In 2006 and 2010, the championships were held as part of the athletics section of South American Games (ODESUR).

The South American U18 Championships in Athletics is a biennial athletics event organized by "Confederación Sudamericana de Atletismo" (CONSUDATLE), the South American area association of the International Amateur Athletic Federation (IAAF). Starting in 1973, the competition was open for athletes under-17 in the early years. Since 2000 the international age group definition has applied. Up until the 2016 edition the competition was known as the South American Youth Championships in Athletics. The tournament is open for athletes from CONSUDATLE member federations. Athletes from IAAF members of other geographical areas may be invited. However, they are not considered in the classification.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Japan Championships in Athletics</span> Annual outdoor track and field competition

The Japan Championships in Athletics is an annual outdoor track and field competition, organized by Japan Association of Athletics Federations. Currently it takes place in June or July. The competition is also for the qualifying trial for the Japanese national team of international competitions.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Athletics at the 2013 Games of the Small States of Europe</span> International athletics championship event

Athletics at the 2013 Games of the Small States of Europe was held from 28 May to 1 June at the Stade Josy Barthel.

These are the official results of the athletics competition at the 2009 Lusophone Games which took place on 12–13 and 19 July 2009 in Lisbon, Portugal. Several athletes, including many medalists were later disqualified for doping.

These are the official results of the 2016 Ibero-American Championships in Athletics which took place on 14–16 May 2016 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
