Euxanthic acid is a xanthonoid glycoside, a conjugate of the aglycone euxanthone with glucuronic acid. Its magnesium salt is the primary colourant of the pigment Indian Yellow. [1]
Turmeric or Curcuma longa, is a flowering plant in the ginger family Zingiberaceae. It is a perennial, rhizomatous, herbaceous plant native to the Indian subcontinent and Southeast Asia that requires temperatures between 20 and 30 °C and high annual rainfall to thrive. Plants are gathered each year for their rhizomes, some for propagation in the following season and some for consumption.

Mycobacterium vanbaalenii is a rapidly growing mycobacterium that can use polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons. It was first isolated from petroleum-contaminated estuarine sediments and has been shown by 16S rRNA gene sequencing to be closely related to Mycobacterium aurum and Mycobacterium vaccae. M. vanbaalenii has potential use in the bioremediation of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon contaminated environmental sites. Maquan Pond is a 48-acre (190,000 m2) pond in Hanson, Massachusetts. Its average depth is 12 feet (3.7 m) and its maximum depth is 18 feet (5.5 m). The pond is spring fed with an overflow on the south end that feeds into Indian Head Pond. There has been much development along the shore. The town has a right-of-way on the northern shore of the pond off Maquan Street. The town beach Cranberry Cove is at south end of the pond. The water is acidic, so fishing is poor except for pickerel, small yellow perch and pumpkinseeds.

Motu Patlu is an Indian animated sitcom created by Harvinder Mankkar and written by Niraj Vikram that premiered on Nickelodeon in India on 16 October 2012. The series is produced by Cosmos-Maya Studios and Viacom 18. It is adapted from the classic comic strip Lotpot. It focuses on two friends, Motu and Patlu, living in a fictional town called Furfuri Nagar, however later in the series they live in another fictional city known as Modern City. In 2019, Motu Patlu and their friends were touring in Europe. Later in 2021, Motu Patlu and their friends were started touring in Indian places. But in 2023 Motu Patlu and their friends are back to Furfuri Nagar.
Alla Venkata Rama Rao is an Indian inventor and chemist, known for his pioneering researches in the field of drug technology. He is the founder of the A. V. Rama Rao Research Foundation, a non governmental organization promoting research and doctoral studies in chemistry and Avra Laboratories, an organization dealing in intermediates and active pharmaceutical ingredients, used in therapeutics. An elected fellow of the Indian National Science Academy, Indian Academy of Sciences, National Academy of Sciences, India, and Third World Academy of Sciences (TWAS), Rama Rao is a recipient of several awards such as TWAS Technology Award, VASVIK Industrial Research Award and Om Prakash Bhasin Award. The Government of India awarded him Padma Shri in 1991 and Padma Bhushan in 2016.
Dr.Krishnarajanagar Nagappa Ganesh is an Indian Bio-Organic chemist and is serving as the (founding) director of Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Tirupati since 2017. He is also the founding Director of Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Pune, that was established in 2006. He is a recipient of the Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Prize in chemical sciences (1998) for "his outstanding contribution towards the understanding of the chemical principles of DNA molecular recognition and for his work on various facets of DNA structure and its interaction with drugs and proteins". He is also a Fellow of the Indian National Science Academy since 2000.
