Evgueni Chtchetinine or Yaŭgen Shchatsinin (born 1 February 1970) is a professional table tennis player from Minsk, Belarus. [1] In 2003, he won the European Championship in men's double and team categories. [2] He also competed at the 1996 Summer Olympics and the 2000 Summer Olympics. [3]
The International Olympic Committee is the international, non-governmental, sports governing body of the modern Olympic Games. The Asian Games, also known as Asiad, is a continental multi-sport event held every four years for athletes of Asia. The Games were regulated by Asian Games Federation from the first Games in New Delhi, India in 1951, until the 1978 Games. Since the 1982 Games, they have been organized by the Olympic Council of Asia, after the breakup of the Asian Games Federation. The Games are recognized by the International Olympic Committee and are the second largest multi-sport event after the Olympic Games.
The Solomon Islands sent a delegation to compete at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, Greece, from 13 to 29 August 2004. This was the nation's sixth appearance at a Summer Olympic Games since their debut in the 1984 Summer Olympics. The Solomon Islands sent two athletes to these games, both in track and field: Francis Manioru and Jenny Keni. Manioru competed in the men's 100 meters and Keni in the women's event of the same distance. Neither advanced out of their event's heats.

Abhinav Bindra OLY is an Indian former sport shooter and a businessman. He is an Olympic gold medalist as well as the first and one of only two Indians to win an individual Olympic gold medal. Bindra is also the first Indian to have held concurrently the World and Olympic titles for the men's 10-meter air rifle event, having earned those honors at the 2008 Summer Olympics and the 2006 World Championships. Bindra has won seven medals at the Commonwealth Games and three medals at the Asian Games.

This was the territory's second appearance in a Winter Olympic Games following their debut in the 1992 Albertville Olympics. The only Bermudian athlete was luge racer Simon Payne. In the men's singles, he came in 30th place.
Solomon Islands sent a delegation to compete in the Olympic Games for the first time at the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, United States from 28 July to 12 August 1984. The delegation consisted of three athletes: track and field competitors Charlie Oliver and Johnson Kere, and weightlifter Leslie Ata. Kere took part in the men's 100 metres and Oliver was an entrant in the men's 800 metres. Neither of the track and field athletes advanced beyond their heats, and Ata placed 16th in the men's lightweight event.

The Peruvian delegation consisted of three athletes: two alpine skiers—Manfred Oettl Reyes and Ornella Oettl Reyes—and the cross-country skier Roberto Carcelen. The nation's best performance in any event was 67th place in the men's giant slalom alpine skiing event by Manfred Oettl Reyes.

Alexander failed to progress through the heats whilst Harrigan-Scott was eliminated in her event's quarterfinals.
The men's field hockey tournament at the 1992 Summer Olympics was the 17th edition of the field hockey event for men at the Summer Olympic Games. It was held over a fourteen-day period beginning on 26 July, and culminating with the medal finals on 8 August. Yevgeny Aleksandrovich Shishlyannikov also written as Evgeny Shishlyannikov and Evgueni Chichliannikov is a Russian male weightlifter, competing in the 105 kg category and representing Russia at international competitions. He competed at the 1998 and 1999 World Weightlifting Championships, most recently competing at the 1999 World Weightlifting Championships. He participated at the 2000 Summer Olympics in the 105 kg event.

Evgueni Galperine is a French composer with Russian and Ukrainian roots, born in Chelyabinsk. He moved to Paris, France, in 1990. Evgueni followed in the footsteps of his father Youli Galperine, a Ukrainian composer, and is principally known for his film music, which he often creates in collaboration with his brother Sacha Galperine. More recently, he has started to focus more on his music outside of films, culminating in the album Theory of Becoming, released on ECM Records.
