Famouz is the debut studio album by Puerto Rican rapper Jhayco, released on May 24, 2019, through Universal Music Latino. [1] It was produced by Sky Rompiendo, Tainy, E.T.F. Exel the Future, Mvsis, Taiko, Ammunation, Erick Ant, Misael de la Cruz, Haze and Jhayco himself, and features collaborations with J Balvin, Bad Bunny, Rafa Pabón, Almighty, Tainy, C. Tangana and Zion & Lennox. A special edition of the album titled Famouz Reloaded was released on January 24, 2020, featuring collaborations with Karol G, Haze, Wisin & Yandel, Ozuna and Myke Towers. The album peaked at numbers 5 and 165 at the US Billboard 200 and Top Latin Albums charts, respectively. Additionally, it was certified platinum in United States in 2020.
On August 22, 2017, Cortez signed with the label Universal Music Latino under the House of Haze movement in alliance with the producer Fino como el Haze, who also produced his first single "Donde No Se Vea", released later in the year. The following year, Cortez worked on the composition of various songs such as Yandel's "Mi Religión", Daddy Yankee's "Otra Cosa" and the collaboration "Criminal" by Natti Natasha and Ozuna. [3] Prior to the released of Famouz, Cortez released the nine-track EP Eyez On Me on May 18, 2018. [4]
A special edition of the album was released on January 24, 2020 as Famouz Reloaded composed of the songs from Famouz alongside five additional songs, two being original songs, "Déseame Suerte" with Karol G and Haze, and "Como Se Siente", and three being remixes of songs previously featured in the original album, "Imaginaste" with Wisin & Yandel, "Easy" with Ozuna and "Subiendo de Nivel" featuring Myke Towers. The first single for the album was "Costear", with Cuban rapper Almighty, released on October 31, 2018. [6] The second singles was "No Me Conoce", released on February 22, 2019, a remix of the song with Bad Bunny and J Balvin was released later in 2019. [7] The remix was commercially successful, peaking at number 4 and 71 at the Hot Latin Songs and Billboard Hot 100 charts, respectively, being Cortez first appearance on both charts. [8] [9]
To promote the release of Famouz Reloaded, two singles were released, "Deséame Suerte" with Karol G and Haze on August 30, 2019, and the remix of "Easy" with Ozuna on November 19, 2019. [10] [11] Both "Costear" and "Deséame Suerte" were certified gold in United States while the remix of "No Me Conoce" was certified platinum selling over a million of copies by 2020. [12]
American magazine Rolling Stone included the album in their list of Best Latin Albums of 2019, placing it at number four, writing that "while the music landscape is littered with the bodies of hit-writers who have attempted to transition to solo stardom, Cortez made the switch look easy this year", they also commented that the album was "tenacious and hummable throughout, incorporating bracing production from Tainy (on the imperious "Imaginaste") and Taiko ("Easy")". Marco Efraín Masís Fernández, known professionally as Tainy, is a Puerto Rican record producer, songwriter and record engineer. Born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico, he entered the world of reggaeton with his work on Mas Flow 2.
The discography of Puerto Rican reggaeton singer-songwriter Yandel as a solo artist, consists of seven studio albums, two EP, one live album, forty five singles as lead singer, twenty seven singles as a featured artist and eighteen music videos.
Dangerous is the third studio album by Puerto Rican reggaeton and pop artist Yandel, of the duo Wisin & Yandel, released worldwide on November 6, 2015 through Sony Music Latin. Contrary of his previous studio album, De Líder A Leyenda, Dangerous focuses mainly on reggaeton music, with some synthpop and electropop exceptions. It features reggaeton artists including Nicky Jam, Tego Calderón, Gadiel and De La Ghetto, as well as artists from other genres like Lil Jon, Pitbull, French Montana, Future, Shaggy and Alex Sensation. As of March 2016, the album includes only one single: "Encantadora", released on October, as well as a promotional electropop song titled "Somos Uno", released on September 18, 2015. It reached the top position on Billboard's Top Latin Albums chart, surpassing 5,000 copies sold as of November 12, 2015. The album also reached the 10th position on Billboard's Best Latin Albums of 2015 ranking, being one of the two reggaeton albums that were chosen by the magazine's editors, the other one being The Last Don 2 by Don Omar, who reached the 9th position. Dangerous received a latin platinum certification in October 2016 by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for surpassing 60,000 copies sold in the United States. Its lead single, "Encantadora", was certified with 2× Platinum in Spain by the PROMUSICAE and later with 5× Platinum (Latin) by the RIAA. Dangerous won a Latin American Music Award for Album of the Year on October 6, 2016 and received a nomination for a Lo Nuestro Award for Urban Album of the Year.
Update is the fourth studio album by Puerto Rican singer and songwriter Yandel, released on September 8, 2017, under Sony Music Latin. It was released two years after his previous studio album, Dangerous.

"Te Boté" is a song recorded by Puerto Rican rappers Nio García, Darell and Casper Mágico. The song was released by Flow La Movie Inc. as a single on December 1, 2017, for digital download and streaming. On April 13, 2018, a remixed version of "Te Boté" featuring American artist Nicky Jam and Puerto Rican artists Bad Bunny and Ozuna was released as single. An English remix of the song by Conor Maynard featuring Anth was released on May 19, 2018. "Fiel" is a song by Puerto Rican producer duo Los Legendarios and Puerto Rican rappers and singers Wisin and Jhayco. It was released by WK Records and La Base Music group as the second single from the album Los Legendarios 001 on February 5, 2021, for digital download and streaming. The song peaked in top 10 on the charts of the United States and Spain. On June 15, 2021, a remixed version of the song with the participation of Puerto Rican rappers Anuel AA and Myke Towers was released as single.
Jose is the fifth solo studio album by Colombian reggaeton singer J Balvin, released on September 10, 2021, through Universal Latin. It was released on May 6, 2022, by Rimas Entertainment alongside the rest of the album. The song was written by the performers while its production was handled by Tainy, La Paciencia, Albert Hype and Jota Rosa. This marks the fourth time Bad Bunny and Jhayco collaborated each other, following the remix version of "No Me Conoce", "Cómo Se Siente" and "Dakiti". The song's title refers to the pack of playing cards of the same name.
Data is the first solo studio album, and second overall including the collaborative album Dynasty (2021), by Puerto Rican record producer and songwriter Tainy. It was released on June 29, 2023, through Tainy's record label Neon16.
