Abbeyfeale is a historic market town in County Limerick, Ireland, near the border with County Kerry. The town is on the N21 road from Limerick to Tralee, some 21 kilometres south-west of Newcastle West and 16 kilometres south-east of Listowel and 38 kilometres north-east of Tralee.
Tournafulla, or Toornafulla, is a village in the southwest of County Limerick, Ireland. Tournafulla is a long single-street village. It has a Catholic church, a primary school, three pubs, a community hall and a GAA pitch. As of the 2016 census, the village had a population of 144 people.

Rockchapel GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in the village of Rockchapel in the North West of County Cork, Ireland which forms part of the parish of Rockchapel and Meelin. The village is located close to border with County Kerry and County Limerick. The club plays Gaelic Football in the Duhallow division competitions. Ladies' Gaelic football is also played within the club. Famous players include the recently deceased Cormac Curtin. Curtin hurled for Peters, Pauls, Meelin, and Freemount before finally settling down with Rockchapel. He scored 0–00 in a county minor trial in 2019 and will go down as one of the greatest 'The Rock' have ever produced. Curtin starred in a match in Dingle with his alumni Mary Immaculate College before being released due to his poor college exam results. Curtin continually rejects calls from the Cork senior football and hurling panel due to his ongoing commitment to females in the Black Rabbit. Rockchapel juvenile footballers play with St. Peter's which is an amalgamation of Meelin, Freemount and Rockchapel clubs at juvenile level. They last won the Duhallow Football Championship in 2012 and won the Cork County Junior Football Championship later that year.
Na Piarsaigh is a Gaelic Athletic Association club situated on the north side of Limerick City, Ireland. It was founded in 1968. Following their 1–15 to 3–11 victory in the 2022 Limerick Intermediate Football Championship over St Senan's, Na Piarsaigh are one of Four dual senior club in hurling and Gaelic football in Limerick. The club currently field five adult teams three in hurling and two in football, the most of any club in Limerick. In 2011, Na Piarsaigh won their first ever Munster Senior Club Hurling Championship. In November 2015, Na Piarsaigh won their third Munster Senior Club Hurling Championship after a 2–18 to 2–11 win against Ballygunner in the final. On St Patrick's Day, 2016 Na Piarsaigh won their first ever All-Ireland Senior Club Hurling Championship beating Ruairí Óg, Cushendall 2–25 to 2–14 in Croke Park, becoming the first ever Limerick club to do so. In December 2022 Na Piarsaigh won the Limerick Intermediate Hurling Championship beating Croagh/Kilfinny 1-19 to 0-14, earning promotion to the Limerick Premier Intermediate Hurling Championship for 2023 and are the only club in Limerick to field teams in both the Limerick Senior Hurling Championship & Limerick Premier Intermediate Hurling Championship.

He made his international debut against Scotland on 16 January 1988 and captained the team 3 times, including the 1992 Ireland rugby union tour of New Zealand. .
