The first Sher Bahadur Deuba cabinet was formed on 12 September 1995. [1] After Man Mohan Adhikari lost support in the House of Representatives, he recommended to dissolve the lower house. However, the Supreme Court restored the lower house and King Birendra appointed Nepali Congress parliamentary party leader Sher Bahadur Deuba as prime minister on 11 September 1995. He was supported by the Rastriya Prajatantra Party and Nepal Sadbhawana Party. [2]
The cabinet was expanded on 22 September 1995 and again on 13 December 1995. [3] [4] The cabinet was reshuffled on 10 June 1996 and on 8 January 1997. [5] [6] After losing a no-confidence motion, he resigned as prime minister on 7 March 1997 and the cabinet was dissolved on 10 March 1997 after the appointment of Lokendra Bahadur Chand.

Prakash Man Singh is a Nepalese politician and a leader of the Nepali Congress and current Deputy Prime Minister of Nepal. He is the son of Nepali politician Ganesh Man Singh. He has also been the Minister of Local Development and Federalism in Sushil Koirala's Cabinet.
Khadgajeet BaralOGDB, OTSP was a Nepalese politician and social worker. After serving as the Inspector General of Nepal Police he also served as Ambassador of Nepal to Burma, Indonesia and French Indochina , as a Chief Liaison Officer of the United Nations Transitional Authority in Cambodia (UNTAC), and also as a Member of Parliament (MP) of Nepal.
The Minister for Industry, Agriculture and Cooperatives is the head of the Ministry of Industry, Agriculture and Cooperatives of the Government of Koshi Province. One of the senior-most officers in the Provincial Cabinet, the minister is responsible for promoting the cooperative sector in national development and adopting policies related to agriculture and land reform, realising the need for land management, formulation implementation and regulation of land management in Koshi Province.
The Rastriya Panchayat was the legislature of the Kingdom of Nepal from during the panchayat era from 1962 to 1990. Following the 1960 coup by King Mahendra, the enactment of the Constitution of 1962, made the Rastriya Panchayat the supreme legislative body in the country, replacing the Parliament of Nepal.
Bidya Devi Bhandari is a Nepali former politician who served as the second president of Nepal from 2015 to 2023. She formerly served as the minister of defence and minister of environment and population.
On 7 June 2017, Sher Bahadur Deuba got elected as the new Prime Minister of Nepal and therefore formed the new Governmental Cabinet of Nepal Deuba's candidacy was supported by the Rastriya Prajatantra Party Nepal, the Rastriya Janata Party Nepal, the Nepal Loktantrik Forum, the Federal Socialist Forum, Nepal and several small parties represented in the Nepalese Parliament after a power-sharing deal with the Communist Party of Nepal, who also supported Deuba's candidacy. After being sworn in, Deuba formed a new government in a coalition with the parties that supported his election. On 17 October 2017, in preparation for the Nepalese legislative election, the Communist Party of Nepal decided to cooperate with the Communist Party of Nepal. For this, all of their ministers left the cabinet after Prime Minister Deuba was prepared to dismiss them.
Following the Nepalese Constituent Assembly Election on 10 April 2008, the Communist Party of Nepal formed a government out of the 1st Nepalese Constituent Assembly led by Pushpa Kamal Dahal and backed by the Communist Party of Nepal , Madhesi Jana Adhikar Forum, Nepal, Sadbhavana Party, Janamorcha Nepal and the Communist Party of Nepal (United).
The Second Oli cabinet, also known as the Oli cabinet, 2018, was the Government of Nepal from 15 February 2018 to 13 July 2021. It initially formed as a majority coalition on 15 February 2018, after Khadga Prasad Sharma Oli was elected as the new Prime Minister of Nepal following the 2017 general election. Oli's candidacy was supported by the Communist Party of Nepal and the Communist Party of Nepal. He assumed his office with two ministers and the remaining ministers were added at later points. The CPN withdrew its support from the government in May 2021, reducing it to a minority, and after the dissolution of the House of Representatives, it turned into an interim government. The cabinet was replaced by the fifth Deuba cabinet, formed after the Supreme Court ordered the appointment of Nepali Congress president Sher Bahadur Deuba as prime minister under Article 76 (5) of the Constitution of Nepal.
The deputy prime minister of Nepal is the deputy head of government of Nepal. The deputy prime minister is second in seniority in the Council of Ministers of Nepal. The deputy prime minister is the senior-most member of cabinet after prime minister in the Government of Nepal. The deputy prime minister presides and chairs the cabinet in the absence of prime minister.
Tanka Prasad Acharya formed a government on 27 January 1956 after being appointed as prime minister by King Mahendra. The cabinet was expanded in February 1957 to add more deputy ministers.
The Minister of Women, Children and Senior Citizens is the head of the Ministry of Women, Children and Senior Citizens of the Government of Nepal. One of the senior-most officers in the Federal Cabinet, the minister is responsibility to formulate policies for social and economic empowerment to promote the role of women, children, senior citizens and various sections of the society in the sustainable peace and development of the country.
The Minister of Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation is the head of the Ministry of Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation of the Government of Nepal. One of the senior-most officers in the Federal Cabinet, the minister is responsibility to establish good governance by upgrading judicial access, feeling of security of land ownership, and effectiveness of service effluence in country.
The Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration is the head of the Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration of the Government of Nepal. One of the senior-most officers in the Federal Cabinet, the minister is responsibility for coordination, cooperation, facilitation and monitoring and evaluation of activities undertaken by local governments; regulation and management of the civil service in the country.
The Ministry of Physical Infrastructure Development is a governmental body of Koshi Province, Nepal mainly responsible for the construction and development of basic physical infrastructure including roads, bridges, buildings and urban development.
The first Girija Prasad Koirala cabinet was formed on 26 May 1991 when Girija Prasad Koirala was appointed as prime minister by King Birendra following the 1991 election. The council of ministers was recommended by Koirala and were appointed on 29 May 1991. The cabinet was expanded with the appointment of two state ministers on 5 May 1991.

The fourth Surya Bahadur Thapa cabinet was formed on 7 October 1997. Surya Bahadur Thapa of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party was appointed as the prime minister by King Birendra after he was supported by Nepali Congress, Nepal Sadbhawana Party and some independents. The cabinet was expanded on 27 October 1997 and was reshuffled on 3 December 1997.
