The following species are within the genus Flabellinopsis: [2]

Doris odhneri is a species of sea slug, a dorid nudibranch, a shell-less marine gastropod mollusk in the family Dorididae. It is known by many common names, such as: giant white nudibranch, giant white dorid, and white-knight nudibranch. It is also often referred to as Odhner's dorid to honor Nils Hjalmar Odhner, the scientist it is named after.

Cadlina is a genus of sea slugs, dorid nudibranchs, shell-less marine gastropod mollusks historically classified in the family Chromodorididae. Recent research by R.F. Johnson in 2011 has shown that Cadlina does not belong to the family Chromodorididae. She has therefore brought back the name Cadlinidae from synonymy with Chromodorididae. The family Cadlinidae also includes the genus AldisaBergh, 1878.
Dendronotus is a genus of sea slugs, nudibranchs, marine gastropod molluscs in the superfamily Tritonioidea.
Hermaea is a genus of sacoglossan sea slugs, a shell-less marine opisthobranch gastropod mollusks in the family Hermaeidae.
Tenellia is a genus of sea slugs, aeolid nudibranchs, marine gastropod mollusks in the family Trinchesiidae.
Montereina is a genus of sea slugs, dorid nudibranchs, shell-less marine gastropod mollusks in the family Discodorididae.
Frank Mace MacFarland (1869–1951) was an American malacologist associated with Stanford University in California. Born in Centralia, Illinois, MacFarland attended DePauw University, Stanford University and the University of Wurzburg. On August 27, 1902, MacFarland married Olive Knowles Hornbrook. Mrs. MacFarland was a skilled technician and artist whose delicate watercolor paintings illustrated many of his scientific publications.

Aegires albopunctatus, common name salt-and-pepper doris, is a species of sea slug, an Eastern Pacific Ocean nudibranch, a marine, opisthobranch gastropod mollusk in the family Aegiridae.
Hancockia californica is a species of sea slug, an Eastern Pacific Ocean nudibranch, a marine, opisthobranch gastropod mollusk in the family Hancockiidae.
Flabellinopsidae is a taxonomic family of brightly coloured sea slugs, specifically nudibranchs, marine gastropod mollusks.
Olive Knowles MacFarland was an American artist and illustrator. She attended Ohio Wesleyan College and earned degrees in physiology at Stanford University. She created watercolor drawings to illustrate the scientific publications of her husband, American malacologist Frank Mace MacFarland, and prepared his notes on opisthobranch mollusks for publication after his death.
