Antaragni is the annual cultural festival of IIT Kanpur, held in October. It is a four-day-long festival, attracting thousands of participants from over 350 colleges of India every year. It includes professional shows, fashion shows, Indian folk dances, competitions, performances by amateur rock bands, musicians, poets, and other events. The festival sees an annual footfall of over 1 lakh annually, making it one of the largest and most popular college festivals of India as well as Asia.
