Technex is the annual techno-management festival of Indian Institute of Technology (BHU) Varanasi [1] held as a three-day event in late February or early March [2] . This year Technex'20 is to be held from 14th - 16th February, 2020 [3] . The festival and its organising team hold a number of activities throughout the year, as well as several social initiatives to encourage novel technological solutions to major scientific challenges like resource shortages, climate change, and day-to-day problems. [4]

Technex provides opportunities to students hailing from different institutes in India. The festival comprises a number of events, including competitions, workshops and guest lectures from reputed personalities, alongside several social outreach initiatives. [5]

The name is a portmanteau: TECHnical NEXtgeneration. The event started as MODEX, an engineering model demonstration at the IT, BHU, in 1940. Even as the exhibition [6] of technical models including robotics, aeromodelling and other stream engineering are included under Technex, a number of management-oriented programmes like entrepreneurship workshop [7] , business planning, case studies, panel discussion and overall personality development programmes are also lined up.

Pragyan

Pragyan, NIT Trichy is the technical festival of the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli. Since its inception in 2005, it has been held every year over a period of three and a half days during the months of January, February or March. Every year, participants from a number of colleges across the country take part in various events conducted as a part of Pragyan, making it one of the largest techno-managerial fests in India. It is also the first student-run organisation in the world and the third overall, next only to the London Olympics and Manchester United to get an ISO 20121:2012 certification for Sustainable Event Management. It also holds the ISO 9001:2015 certification for Quality Management Systems.

Thadomal Shahani Engineering College

Thadomal Shahani Engineering College (TSEC) is an engineering and research institute in Mumbai, India. Founded in 1983, the year in which the Government of Maharashtra granted permission to start private engineering colleges in the state, it is the first and the oldest private engineering institute affiliated to the University of Mumbai, one of the oldest universities of Asia. Techkriti

Techkriti is an annual inter-collegiate technical and entrepreneurship festival of Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur. Techkriti is also an umbrella term which refers to an organizing student body under Science and Technology Council, Student Gymkhana, IIT Kanpur and several pre-festival events and social initiatives undertaken by the student body. The 26th edition will be held from 19–22 March 2020. The festival was first launched in 1995 with the aim of developing interesting and encouraging innovation in technology among students.

Indian Institute of Technology Indore public university in Indore, Madhya Pradesh

Indian Institute of Technology Indore, located in Madhya Pradesh, is one of the Institutes of Technology established by the Government of India in 2009. Kurukshetra (college festival)

Kurukshetra is an international techno-management fest conducted annually by the College of Engineering, Guindy (CEG) in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. It is a four-day event organized by the college's technical body, the CEG Tech Forum (CTF). The name of the fest derives from the location of the apocalyptic battle between the Kauravas and the Pandavas in the ancient Indian epic, the Mahabharata. The tag-line of the fest, "The Battle of Brains", refers to the battle. The fest was first held in 2007 and was the first techno-management festival in India to be awarded UNESCO patronage. Its logo, the Cyclotron, symbolize the celebration of the indomitable spirit of engineering and innovation.

Jalpaiguri Government Engineering College Public engineering institution in West Bengal, India

The Jalpaiguri Government Engineering College, abbreviated as JGEC, is a public engineering institution established in 1961. It is situated in the Jalpaiguri, the divisional headquarters of the eight districts of North Bengal.
