Indian Institute of Technology Bombay is a public technical and research university located in Powai, Mumbai, India.

Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur Public engineering institution in Kharagpur, West Bengal

Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur is a public technical and research university established by the government of India in 1951. It is the first of the IITs to be established and is recognised as an Institute of National Importance. In 2019 it was awarded the status of Institute of Eminence by the government of India.

Performing Arts Festival

The Performing Arts Festival, abbreviated as PAF, is the biggest inter-hostel cultural competition in the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay located at Powai in Mumbai (India). The term PAF is used to refer not only to the festival itself, but also to the individual cultural performances that constitute the festival.

Sadanand D. Joshi is the president of Joshi Technologies International, Inc. (JTI) and a petroleum engineer, he contributed in developing horizontal well technology to produce crude oil and natural gas. He was also a distinguished lecturer for the Society of Petroleum Engineers in 1995-1996. He was listed by Oil and Gas Investor magazine as one of the 100 most influential people of the petroleum century.

Arun N. Netravali is an Indian-American computer engineer credited with contributions in digital technology including HDTV. He conducted research in digital compression, signal processing and other fields. Netravali was the ninth President of Bell Laboratories and has served as Lucent's Chief Technology Officer and Chief Network Architect. He received his undergraduate degree from IIT Bombay, India, and an M.S. and a Ph.D. from Rice University in Houston, Texas, all in electrical engineering. Several global universities, including the Ecole Polytechnique Federale in Lausanne, Switzerland, have honored him with honorary doctorates.

Kota Harinarayana Place

Kota Harinarayana is appointed as Chairman of the Board of Governors of IIT (BHU), Varanasi by Hon'ble President of India on 25.08.2020 for three years. He was the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Hyderabad and the President of the Aeronautical Society of India. His schooling is from City High School, Brahmapur. He is an alumnus of the Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University, Indian Institute of Science and IIT Bombay (Ph.D). He also holds a bachelor's degree in law. He was Programme Director and Chief Designer of India's Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) Tejas Programme.

Valipe Ramgopal Rao is the director of the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. He was a P.K.Kelkar Chair Professor in Department of Electrical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Bombay and is now also the director at IIT Delhi. Ramgopal Rao has more than 450 publications in various journals, and 45 patents in the areas of Electron devices and Nanoelectronics. Ramgopal Rao was the first elected chairman for the Indian Section of the American Nano Society. He is also the recipient of multiple prizes including the Swarnajayanti Fellowship Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Prize, Infosys Prize, Techno-Mentor award from the Indian Semiconductor Association in 2009, the IBM faculty award in 2007 and the IEEE EDS Education award in 2020 besides many others. He is a Fellow of IEEE, Fellow of the Indian National Academy of Engineering (INAE), Indian Academy of Sciences (IASc), National Academy of Sciences (NASI) and the Indian National Science Academy (INSA).

Prashant Ranade American businessman

Prashant Ranade has been with Atos Syntel since 2007 till his retirement from the company in May 2020. He was the Co-Chairman of Syntel, Inc., a position to which he was appointed on 3 November 2016. He was formerly Executive Vice Chairman of Syntel's Board of Directors and also served as the company's Chief Executive Officer and President from February 2010.

Vikas Joshi

Vikas Vasudeo Joshi is an Indian businessman. He is the founder of the Pune-headquartered Harbinger Group, which includes Harbinger Systems, Harbinger Knowledge Products, and Harbinger Interactive Learning, with offices in Redmond, Washington and Pleasanton, California.

Madhu Pandit Dasa

Madhu Pandit Dasa is the President of ISKCON Bangalore, Chairman of The Akshaya Patra Foundation, and Chairman of Vrindavan Chandrodaya Mandir. The Government of India has recently conferred upon him the prestigious Padma Shri Award in recognition of the distinguished service rendered by Akshaya Patra Foundation for the children of India.

Lalit Surajmal Kanodia Indian business entrepreneur

Dr. Kanodia is an Indian business entrepreneur, is currently Chairman of Datamatics Group of Companies which he founded in 1975. He also holds the position of National President of the Indo - American Chamber of Commerce and Vice President of the Indian Merchants Chamber, both prestigious organizations of the Indian business community. He has also served as President of the Management Consultants Association of India.

Murali Sastry is an Indian material chemist, nanomaterial scientist and the chief executive officer of IITB-Monash Research Academy. He is a former chief scientist and Tata Chemicals and a former senior scientist at National Chemical Laboratory. He is known for his studies on surfaces, films and materials chemistry and is an elected fellow of Maharashtra Academy of Sciences and the Indian Academy of Sciences The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, the apex agency of the Government of India for scientific research, awarded him the Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Prize for Science and Technology, one of the highest Indian science awards, in 2002, for his contributions to chemical sciences.

Devang Vipin Khakhar is an Indian chemical engineer and the former director of the Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai. He is known for his pioneering researches on polymerization and is an elected fellow of all the three major Indian science academies viz. Indian Academy of Sciences, Indian National Science Academy and National Academy of Sciences, India as well as Indian National Academy of Engineering. The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, the apex agency of the Government of India for scientific research, awarded him the Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Prize for Science and Technology, one of the highest Indian science awards for his contributions to Engineering Sciences in 1997.

Subhasis Chaudhuri

Subhasis Chaudhuri is an Indian electrical engineer and director at IIT Bombay. He is a former K. N. Bajaj Chair Professor at the Department of Electrical Engineering of the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. He is known for his pioneering studies on Computer vision and is an elected fellow of all the three major Indian science academies viz. the National Academy of Sciences, India, Indian Academy of Sciences, and Indian National Science Academy. He is also a fellow of Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, and the Indian National Academy of Engineering. The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, the apex agency of the Government of India for scientific research, awarded him the Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Prize for Science and Technology, one of the highest Indian science awards for his contributions to Engineering Sciences in 2004.

Mukta Ghate Farooq is a metallurgical engineer working for the IBM Corporation in Hopewell Junction, New York. She was named a Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) in 2016 for her contributions to 3D integration and interconnect technology. She currently works at GlobalFoundries and has over 200 issued patents including patent numbers 10199315, 20180061749, and 8367543. In 2017, IIT Bombay awarded her the notable alumna award

Narendra Kumar was an Indian theoretical physicist and a Homi Bhaba Distinguished Professor of the Department of Atomic Energy at Raman Research Institute. He was also an honorary professor at Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research.

Pramod P. Wangikar is an Indian chemical engineer and a professor at the Department of Chemical Engineering of the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. Known for his studies in the field of bioenergy, Wangikar is a recipient of the Sartorius India Chemcon Distinguished Speaker Award of the Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers. The Department of Biotechnology of the Government of India awarded him the National Bioscience Award for Career Development, one of the highest Indian science awards, for his contributions to biosciences in 2006.
