Clayton is a city in and the county seat of St. Louis County, Missouri, and borders the independent city of St. Louis. The population was 17,355 at the 2020 census. Organized in 1877, the city was named after Ralph Clayton, who donated the land for the St. Louis County courthouse.
MetroLink is a light rail system that serves the Greater St. Louis area. Operated by Metro Transit in a shared fare system with MetroBus, the two-line, 38-station system runs from St. Louis Lambert International Airport and Shrewsbury in Missouri to Scott Air Force Base in Illinois. Intermediate destinations include downtown Clayton, Forest Park, and downtown St. Louis. It is the only U.S. light rail system to cross state lines.
Metro Transit is an enterprise of the Bi-State Development Agency and operates public transportation services in the St. Louis region. In 2023, the system had an annual ridership of 19,528,200, or about 59,800 per weekday as of the fourth quarter of 2023.
Rock Road station is a light rail station on the Red Line of the St. Louis MetroLink system. This at-grade station primarily serves commuters with a large MetroBus transfer and 191 park and ride spaces located in Pagedale, Missouri. The station's name comes from nearby St. Charles Rock Road, an important east–west artery in St. Louis County.
Forest Park–DeBaliviere station is a light rail station on the Red and Blue lines of the St. Louis MetroLink system. This below-grade station is located at the northeast corner of Forest Park Parkway and DeBaliviere Avenue in St. Louis and is designated as the primary transfer point between the two lines.
Central West End station is a light rail station on the Red and Blue lines of the St. Louis MetroLink system. This at-grade station is located in the Central West End neighborhood just southeast of the intersection of Euclid Avenue and Children's Place. This station also serves a large MetroBus transfer and is the most used station on the MetroLink system.
Grand station is a light rail station on the Red and Blue lines of the St. Louis MetroLink system. This at-grade station is situated beneath the Grand Boulevard viaduct and connects to the region's busiest bus line, the #70 Grand, which runs electric, articulated buses.
Union Station is a light rail station on the Red and Blue lines of the St. Louis MetroLink system. This below-grade station is located partially within the former baggage tunnel beneath historic St. Louis Union Station near 18th Street at its intersection with Clark Avenue.
Civic Center station is a light rail station on the Red and Blue lines of the St. Louis MetroLink system. This below-grade station is located near 14th and Spruce streets near Interstate 64. It is also the primary transfer station for MetroBus and serves bus routes operated by Madison County Transit. Additionally, the station adjoins the Gateway Multimodal Transportation Center which has intercity services provided by Amtrak, Greyhound, and others.
Convention Center station is a light rail station on the Red and Blue lines of the St. Louis MetroLink system. This subway station is located beneath the intersection of 6th Street and Washington Avenue in St. Louis' Central Business District.
Laclede's Landing station is a light rail station on the Red and Blue lines of the St. Louis MetroLink system. This elevated station is located in downtown St. Louis near Laclede's Landing.
The Hewes Street station is a local station on the BMT Jamaica Line of the New York City Subway. Located at the intersection of Hewes Street and Broadway in Brooklyn, it is served by the J train at all times except weekdays in the peak direction and the M train at all times except late nights. This station is located on an embankment near Lansdowne Avenue and River Des Peres Boulevard in St. Louis near its boundary with Shrewsbury in St. Louis County. The city limits between the two communities runs through the northern portion of the 800 space park and ride lot.
University station is an Edmonton Light Rail Transit station in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. It serves both the Capital Line and the Metro Line. It is an underground station located beneath 112 Street at 89 Avenue on the University of Alberta campus. As of 2017, it is the busiest LRT station of the Capital and Metro lines with typical weekday traffic averaging 27,394 passengers.

Forest Park Parkway is a parkway in Clayton, Missouri and St. Louis that runs from Interstate 170, becomes Forest Park Avenue at Kingshighway Boulevard, and ends at Market Street and Interstate 64. It is considered an arterial snow route. Its right-of-way has carried various railroad lines throughout much of its history.
