Full Frequency is the sixth studio album by Jamaican dancehall singer Sean Paul, released through Atlantic Records. The album was originally planned for release on 4 November 2013, but was later pushed back to a release date of 18 February 2014. [2]
Boasting a blend of dancehall, hip hop and pop styles, the album features guest appearances from Damian Marley, Iggy Azalea, Nyla Of Brick & Lace, Konshens, Nicki Minaj, 2 Chainz, Juicy J and writing from MNDR. [3]
The album debuted at number one on the Billboard Reggae Albums chart and was nominated at the 57th Annual Grammy Awards for Best Reggae Album. [4]
This was the final album for Sean Paul under Atlantic Records before his departure to Universal's Island Records.

Sean Paul Ryan Francis Henriques is a Jamaican reggae and dancehall singer and rapper. Paul's first album, Stage One, was released in 2000. He gained international fame with his second album, Dutty Rock, in 2002. Its single "Get Busy" topped the US Billboard Hot 100 chart in the United States, as did "Temperature", off his third album, The Trinity (2005).
Jordan Michael Houston III, known professionally as Juicy J, is an American rapper, songwriter, and record producer. Originally from Memphis, Tennessee, he is a founding member of the Southern hip hop group Three 6 Mafia, established in 1991. He released ten studio albums with the group, which began as an underground act until attaining mainstream recognition and signing with Loud Records, an imprint of Columbia Records in 2000. The group's 2005 single, "Stay Fly", yielded their furthest commercial success, peaking at number 13 on the Billboard Hot 100. That same year, they recorded the song "It's Hard out Here for a Pimp" for the film Hustle & Flow, which won an Academy Award for Best Original Song.
Marion Hall is a Jamaican singer and songwriter whose career has spanned over two decades. Formerly known as the Queen of Dancehall, she is known for her guest appearance on No Doubt's "Underneath It All," which went triple Platinum and won a Grammy for No Doubt.

David Constantine Brooks, better known by his stage name Mavado, is a Jamaican singer. Mavado signed with DJ Khaled's We the Best Music Group, a then-imprint of Cash Money and Republic Records in 2011. He guest performed on each of Khaled's studio albums, beginning with We the Best Forever (2011) until parting ways with the label prior to the release of his twelfth, Khaled Khaled (2021). He is best known for his songwriting work for numerous releases by American singer Trey Songz, including his 2009 single "Bottoms Up", which peaked at number six on the Billboard Hot 100. Following its success, Scales has since been credited on albums by Justin Bieber, Jamie Foxx, Dr. Dre, Plies, Jacquees, Maejor, Queen Naija, and Sean Paul, among others.

Written by both performers alongside its producer Pharrell Williams, the song was intended to serve as the lead single for Busta Rhymes' tenth studio album, E.L.E.2 , which was delayed from 2014 to 2020; the final album did not feature this song.
