Fynn Jake Hudson-Prentice (born 12 January 1996) is an English cricketer who plays for Sussex County Cricket Club. He is a right-handed batsman who bowls right-arm medium-fast.
He previously played for Sussex and Derbyshire.
He made his List A debut for Sussex against Glamorgan in the 2014 Royal London One-Day Cup,on 20 August 2014. [1]
On 24 October 2014,Hudson-Prentice signed his first professional contract with Sussex,after graduating from the club's academy; [2] he had played for Sussex since the age of 10. [3] After two seasons as a professional,Hudson-Prentice was released by Sussex in November 2016. [4]
Since then Hudson-Prentice has been part of the MCC young cricketers, [5] where he met former Derbyshire Assistant Coach Steve Kirby. He represented Derbyshire on a six-week trial period before signing a three-year contract for them on 12 June 2019. He made his T20 debut on 20 July 2019,for Derbyshire against Yorkshire,in the 2019 t20 Blast. [6] During this campaign he played every match,as Derbyshire went on to reach their first ever T20 Finals Day,losing in the semi-final to eventual winners,Essex.
On 11 July 2021 Hudson-Prentice announced he would sign for Sussex again at the end of the season after a two-year spell at Derbyshire. On 16 August he joined the club on loan for the remainder of the season,playing in three County Championship matches before breaking his hand against Leicestershire. His Sussex return was hit by a further setback a few months later,picking up a stress fracture to the back,ruling him out for the majority of the 2022 campaign.

An all-rounder,he played as right-handed batsman and bowled right-arm medium-pace deliveries. He scored over 16,000 first-class runs and after the age of 35 took more than 500 wickets and more than 30 five-wicket hauls. Stevens was named as one of the Wisden Cricketers of the Year in the 2021 edition of the almanack.
Steven Kirby is an English retired first-class cricketer,and more recently a cricket coach. Kirby played for Yorkshire,Gloucestershire and Somerset,before retiring from playing in 2014. In 2020,he rejoined Somerset as their bowling coach.
Sam Alexander Northeast is an English professional cricketer who plays for Glamorgan County Cricket Club. He is a right-handed batsman. Northeast made his senior debut in 2007 and until 2017 played for Kent County Cricket Club. He captained the Kent First XI for most of the 2015 season before being formally appointed as club captain in 2016. He captained the side in 2017 before being replaced before the 2018 season after declining to sign a contract extension committing himself to the club in the longer term.

The 2019 Vitality Blast was the seventeenth edition of the T20 Blast currently known as the Vitality Blast,a professional Twenty20 cricket league that was played in England and Wales which was run by the ECB,has been branded as the Vitality Blast due to a new sponsorship deal. The league consisted of the 18 first-class county teams divided into two divisions of nine teams each with fixtures played,slightly later than usual,between July and September. Finals Day took place at Edgbaston Cricket Ground in Birmingham on 21 September 2019. Worcestershire Rapids were the defending champions.
