Gaft (Persian : گفت‎, also Romanized as Gowft and Goft)^[1] is a village in Khavashod Rural District, Rud Ab District, Sabzevar County, Razavi Khorasan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 34, in 9 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Khavashod Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in Rud Ab District, Sabzevar County, Razavi Khorasan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 4,779, in 1,510 families. The rural district has 28 villages.

Rud Ab District is a district (bakhsh) in Sabzevar County, Razavi Khorasan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 14,611, in 4,163 families. The District has one city: Rud Ab.
