Mehrshani (Persian : مهرنشاني‎, also Romanized as Mehrshānī; also known as Mehr Shāhī)^[1] is a village in Takab-e Kuhmish Rural District, Sheshtomad District, Sabzevar County, Razavi Khorasan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 285, in 69 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is a pluricentric language primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Takab-e Kuhmish Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in Sheshtomad District, Sabzevar County, Razavi Khorasan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 5,000, in 1,435 families. The rural district has 9 villages.

Shesthtomad District is a district (bakhsh) in Sabzevar County, Razavi Khorasan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 25,273, in 6,973 families. The District has one city: Sheshtomad. The District has four rural districts (dehestan): Beyhaq Rural District, Rob-e Shamat Rural District, Shamkan Rural District, and Takab-e Kuhmish Rural District.
