Rowshanabad (Persian : روشن اباد‎, also Romanized as Rowshanābād)^[1] is a village in Rob-e Shamat Rural District, Sheshtomad District, Sabzevar County, Razavi Khorasan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 213, in 56 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script, which itself evolved from the Aramaic alphabet.

Shesthtomad District is a district (bakhsh) in Sabzevar County, Razavi Khorasan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 25,273, in 6,973 families. The District has one city: Sheshtomad. The District has four rural districts (dehestan): Beyhaq Rural District, Rob-e Shamat Rural District, Shamkan Rural District, and Takab-e Kuhmish Rural District.
