Poshteh Abbas (Persian : پشته عباس‎, also Romanized as Poshteh ‘Abbās)^[1] is a village in Frughan Rural District, Rud Ab District, Sabzevar County, Razavi Khorasan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 34, in 6 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is a pluricentric language primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Frughan Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in Rud Ab District, Sabzevar County, Razavi Khorasan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 4,151, in 1,182 families. The rural district has 12 villages.
