Kool & the Gang is an American band formed in Jersey City, New Jersey, in 1964 by brothers Robert "Kool" Bell and Ronald Bell, with Dennis "D.T." Thomas, Robert "Spike" Mickens, Charles Smith, George Brown, and Ricky West. They have undergone numerous changes in personnel and have explored many musical styles throughout their history, including jazz, soul, funk, rock, and pop music. After settling on their name following several changes, the group signed to De-Lite Records and released their debut album, Kool and the Gang (1970).
Non homologué was a 1985 album recorded by French artist Jean-Jacques Goldman. It was his fourth studio album and was released in September 1985. Goldman composed all the songs except "Je te donne", written in collaboration with Michael Jones. The album was recorded at Studio Gang by Jean-Pierre Janiau, assisted by Olivier do Espirito Santo. It was released by JRG/NEF and produced by Marc Lumbroso.

Près de toi is French pop singer Lorie's triple-platinum debut album. It was released on 30 September 2001. On 29 April 2002 a special limited edition of the album was released with new packaging and extra tracks. Starting from 20 September 2004, the original album was sold jointly with the singer's second album, Tendrement.
Tendrement is the second album for French pop singer Lorie. It originally came out on 16 September 2002 in a regular jewel case version and a limited edition cardboard box containing the CD in a digipak and eight postcards featuring the famous blond singer. On 2 December 2002, a limited Christmas edition of the album was released, in digipak form, with extra tracks and a DVD... but no more postcards. Finally, on 2 June 2003, the regular jewel case was re-released to include the hit single "Sur un air latino". As of 20 September 2004, this version can be bought jointly with the singer's debut album, Près de Toi.
"Sixteen Tons" is a song written by Merle Travis about a coal miner, based on life in mines in Muhlenberg County, Kentucky. Travis first recorded the song at the Radio Recorders Studio B in Hollywood, California, on August 8, 1946. Cliffie Stone played bass on the recording. It was first released in July 1947 by Capitol on Travis's album Folk Songs of the Hills. The song became a gold record.
Véronique Béliveau, originally Nicole Monique, is a Canadian actress and pop/rock singer who was nominated for a 1987 Juno Award for Female Vocalist of the Year. Her first full-length album was Prends-moi comme je suis in 1977. Her first English language album was Borderline in 1987, which was released under the single name Veronique. In 1985, she was one of a group of Canadian singers to make "Tears Are Not Enough" to raise funds to fight famine in Ethiopia. One of her high-profile performances was in the opening Gala for Expo 86.

Jes Holtsø is a Danish actor most notable for his role as Kjeld's son Børge in the Olsen-banden films. The reason that he was chosen to play Børge was actually his thick glasses, which became his characteristic. Later he played the Olsens' son, William Olsen in the Danish television series Huset på Christianshavn from 1970 to 1977 and the film based on the series Ballade på Christianshavn in 1971. As an adult Holtsø never pursued acting, though he did take part in the last Olsen Gang film, The Olsen Gang's Last Trick, as the adult Børge.

"Sunday Mornin'" is a song written by Margo Guryan, made famous by Spanky and Our Gang and Oliver, and recorded by many others. Spanky and Our Gang's version became a hit single, reaching #30 on the Billboard Hot 100, #39 on the easy listening chart in early 1968, and #23 in the Canadian RPM Magazine charts. Oliver's 1969 version was also released as a single, which reached #35 and #14 on the same charts.

The album was released due to the success of the song Je n'ai que mon âme in Canada, as its parent album A chacun son histoire had not been released in Canada. Also an English version of Je n'ai que mon âme was included. The album contains one unheard song, I'm in Love, which is an English version of Tu m'envoles and has never been released in France. The release date of the album was 26 June 2001. No singles were released from this album.

It was Farmer's second concert residency after Avant que l'ombre... à Bercy in 2006, which took place at the Bercy in Paris.
