"Da Doo Ron Ron (When He Walked Me Home)" is a song written by Jeff Barry, Ellie Greenwich and Phil Spector. It first became a popular top five hit single for the American girl group the Crystals in 1963. American teen idol Shaun Cassidy recorded the song in 1977 and his version hit number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. There have also been many other cover versions of this song, including one by the songwriters Jeff Barry and Ellie Greenwich themselves, performing as the Raindrops.

Written by Patrice Guirao, who has previously worked for many notable artists, and composed by French pop singers Calogero and his brother Gioacchino, a former member of Les Charts, "Ça n'finira jamais" was released in mid-November 2008 and the B-side of the single is a new song, "Croire en l'homme", written by Kevin Roentgen from the band Orson, Oliver Leiber, and Pierre Yves Lebert, which is also included on the special edition album cd. The single went straight to number-one on the French SNEP Singles Chart, selling 13,893 units that week, thus becoming Hallyday's fifth and final number-one hit throughout his 48-year career.
Sang pour sang is a 1999 album recorded by French singer Johnny Hallyday. It was released on 13 September 1999, and achieved huge success in France and Belgium (Wallonia), where it topped the charts and stayed on the charts for respectively two and one years. It provided five top 15 singles in France : "Vivre pour le meilleur", "Un jour viendra", "Sang pour sang", "Partie de cartes" and "Pardon". David Hallyday, Johnny's son, participated in the composition of all the songs of the album, along with Miossec and Zazie.
Lorada is a 1995 album recorded by French singer Johnny Hallyday. It was released on June 20, 1995, and achieved success in France and Belgium (Wallonia), where, however, it failed to top the charts, being blocked by Michael Jackson's HIStory: Past, Present and Future, Book I and Céline Dion's D'eux. It provided four singles in France, but a sole top ten hit : "J'la croise tous les matins" (#7), "Ne m'oublie pas" (#18), "Quand le masque tombe" (#22) and "Rester libre" (#26). 2 is a 2001 album recorded by French singer Florent Pagny. It was his seventh studio album and was released on December 17, 2001. It achieved success in France and Belgium (Wallonia), where it hit #3, and in Switzerland where it peaked at #8. This album is composed of cover versions of popular songs in French or English, and covers of Pagny's previous songs, but as the title suggests, these songs were overdubbed as duets with many notable artists such as David Hallyday, Calogero, Pascal Obispo and Patrick Bruel. It provided a sole single, "L'air du temps", recorded with Cécilia Cara, which was #20 in France and #19 in Belgium (Wallonia).
