The eighteenth series of Geordie Shore , a British television programme based in Newcastle Upon Tyne was filmed in July 2018 and began airing on 16 October 2018. It concluded after ten episodes on 18 December 2018. This was the first series to include new cast member Faith Mullen. [1] Ahead of the series it was announced that former cast member Scott Timlin would be making a return to the show. It was also announced that former cast members James Tindale, Kyle Christie and Alex MacPherson would all be making guest appearances throughout the series. [2]

Anna sends the Geordies back to the house where she reveals that Scotty T will be returning as her new business partner. Faith arrives as the new family member and instantly gels with the girls, but has a secret she’s scared of sharing. Elsewhere Adam makes a move on Abbie unaware that she doesn’t feel the same way, and Chloe and Sam decide to make more of an effort with the rest of the group in order to keep the peace. Faith’s confession raises questions from Chloe, and Nathan gets up to no good when fuelled with alcohol.

Sam and Chloe host a house warming party to show off their new home, whilst Sophie meets up with a newly single James. Chloe is determined to learn more about Faith’s beliefs unaware that she may be causing offence. Adam finally gives up on Abbie when she rejects one of his kisses, Scotty T gives the Geordies their first mission, and Faith feels rejected during a night out with the group. Abbie and Adam’s competition to pull other people takes a surprise twist, and the tension between Chloe and Faith increases.

Sophie plans a trip to Blackpool for the girls while the Scotty T sends the boys to work. Chloe and Faith’s feud continues following a failed attempt at an apology. Elsewhere, back in Newcastle Nathan kicks off with Sam after being humiliated by him in a club, and Adam ends up in bed with one of Abbie’s closest friends. The girls receive a shock when the boys arrive in Blackpool to surprise them, whilst Chloe and Faith finally call a truce. Adam and Sam begin to feel sorry for Faith after noticing her dancing on her own, meanwhile Nathan has an accident in a B&B.

Sophie defends Faith when Chloe fears that she still isn’t being herself around the girls. The group return home but are faced with more drama when a passing comment from Sam makes Chloe question their relationship, and Sophie is quick to stand by her friend. Nathan confronts Faith when he feels that she’s isolating herself from the rest of the group, whilst Chloe and Sam take a break from the house in order to focus on themselves. Elsewhere Adam continues to try his luck with Abbie but is unfortunate to get nowhere.

Despite originally clearing the air, Sam still feels Sophie needs to stay out of his and Chloe’s business. Nathan makes it his mission to make Faith feel more involved in the group, whilst Abbie begins to feel awkward around Adam. Nathan is delighted when Chloe promises to spend the night with him rather than Sam, but is left disappointed again when her attention is drawn back to her boyfriend. Elsewhere Adam and Abbie come to blows when he makes another move on her, and Sophie and Sam call a truce for the sake of their housemates.

With the tension between Abbie and Adam increasing and Sophie feeling that Chloe keeps abandoning the girls, the group plan a games night in order to lighten the mood. Abbie confronts her friend for kissing Adam before throwing a drink over him instead, and then clashes with Faith for making insulting comments. Anna sends the Geordies to Benidorm to house sit, where Abbie has some making up to do. Elsewhere Sam has no choice but to defend his girlfriend during an argument with Sophie causing her to lash out and punch him.

It’s the morning after the night before in Benidorm and Sam demands an apology from Sophie. Elsewhere Nathan suggests a trip to the water park where Sophie and Chloe make amends. Nathan still feels there’s an atmosphere between him and Chloe but neither are willing to make the first move to resolve their differences. Abbie’s Nana joins the gang on a night out where she brings everyone together, and Chloe and Nathan finally clear the air. Sophie reveals that she’s really enjoying her single lifestyle, and Faith puts her pulling skills to the test.

When the gang arrive back on home turf, they’re shocked by the arrival of Alex who has come to win back Sophie’s heart. However Alex instantly causes friction by flirting with Abbie and making her feel uncomfortable. Holly returns to the house to give Sophie some much needed advice, and Nathan is in his element as he visits Newcastle Pride. There are further fireworks when Sophie catches Alex in a compromising position with Abbie, causing an almighty row when they all arrive back at the house following a night out.

Chloe takes Sam on a date to the ice rink to show off her skills. Alex desperately tries to make amends with Sophie, but things take a turn for the worst when she spots another moment between him and Abbie. Elsewhere Faith lets her hair down, and Holly tells Sophie that Alex is just holiday romance material. Holly is horrified when Scotty T brings a blast from her past to work in the form of Kyle, and Alex finally makes it back into Sophie’s good books. A clearly shaken Holly has some choice words for Kyle, and it only makes Sam realise that his relationship with Chloe is stronger than ever.

Abbie celebrates her 21st birthday in style as the group plan her a festival themed house party with her Nana as a special guest. Sophie and Alex take their relationship to the next step by going on an official date, whilst Nathan organises a colonic irrigation session for Abbie. On the last night, Sophie finally gives into temptation and has sex with Alex for the first time in Newcastle. The Geordies face another emotional goodbye to each other as Faith reflects on her turbulent stay.

The series concluded on 18 December 2012 with a double bill after 8 episodes, the series ended on a double bill to avoid the final episode airing on Christmas Day. This was the first series to feature Daniel Thomas-Tuck and Scott Timlin and is the highest rated series to date with 4 episodes receiving over 1,000,000 viewers. The series includes Vicky and Ricci's ongoing arguments continue to the point of the engagement being temporarily called off, James leaving Holly distraught by the announcement of him having a girlfriend, and a huge bust-up between Vicky and Sophie which has the whole house divided.

This series was filmed in Newcastle upon Tyne with the cast visiting various locations around Europe, including Amsterdam, Barcelona, Prague and Tignes. This was the final series to feature cast members Daniel Thomas-Tuck, and Ricci Guarnaccio, who departed the series following the breakdown of his relationship with Vicky Pattison. Former cast member Jay Gardner returned as a guest, who had originally appeared in the show from series one to three. The seventh series of Geordie Shore, a British television programme based in Newcastle upon Tyne, was announced on 5 July 2013 after cast members Holly Hagan and Vicky Pattison had been arrested for assault on a night out during filming. The series began on 17 September 2013, just three weeks after Series 6 had concluded, and finished airing on 22 October 2013 after six episodes. This series had a shorter run that usual due to filming being postponed after the night of the assault. It was reported that filming for the series began on 26 June 2013 as the cast members had all been absent from Twitter since then. This was the last series to feature Sophie Kasaei after she was axed from the series following a racial slur. It was also the first series to feature Sophie's cousin, Marnie Simpson and included the brief return of Jay Gardner, who had previously featured in series one to three, and again during the sixth series for two episodes. Following Vicky's arrest, she was absent from the final half of the series. This series included the cast members taking part in a number of activities on their bucket list, new cast member Marnie isolating herself after breaking up the friendship between Gaz and Scott, and Jay returning to fix the drift between the cast members.

The eighth series of Geordie Shore, a British television programme based in Newcastle upon Tyne was confirmed in October 2013 after cast member Holly Hagan announced it on Twitter and is expected to air 22 July 2014. Filming began for this series on 25 March 2014. This series will be the first not to feature former cast member Sophie Kasaei after she was axed during the seventh series following a racial slur. All other cast members from the previous series return with the addition of new cast member Aaron Chalmers who had briefly appeared during series two of the show as a one-night stand of Holly's. In May 2014, Gaz announced that the series would begin in July. An exclusive first trailer for the series was released during an episode of Ex On The Beach on 3 June 2014. It was revealed on 10 June 2014 that another new cast member had joined, 21-year-old Kyle Christie.

The show began on 20 October 2015. This is the first series not to include original cast member James Tindale after he departed at the beginning of the previous series. Ahead of the series it was confirmed that the series would be filmed in Greece. In September 2015 when the series premiere was announced, it was confirmed that the cast members would air for 10 episodes, making it the longest series to date. It was also confirmed that the cast had travelled to Zante, Malia, Mykonos, Ios as well as Athens for the series.

The first series of Warsaw Shore, a Polish television programme based in Warsaw, began airing on 10 November 2013 on MTV, after transmission from 2013 MTV Europe Music Awards in Amsterdam, Nederlands. This was the first series not to include Kyle Christie since he made his exit during the previous series, and was the first to feature new cast members Chantelle Connelly and Marty McKenna, who had previously appeared during the third series of Ex on the Beach.

Geordie Shore: Big Birthday Battle, a spin-off series of Geordie Shore, a British television programme based in Newcastle upon Tyne was confirmed on 6 February 2016 following cast member Scott's win on Celebrity Big Brother it was announced that he'd be filming for the next series of Geordie Shore the next day. However, on 12 February 2016 it was confirmed that the cast past and present would be reuniting for a mini-series to celebrate five years of the show. The series began airing on 10 May 2016. It features all of the current cast members and the return of former cast members Daniel Thomas-Tuck, James Tindale, Jay Gardner, Kyle Christie, Ricci Guarnaccio and Sophie Kasaei. The only past cast members that did not return for this series were Greg Lake, Rebecca Walker and Vicky Pattison. This series is classified as "Geordie Shore: Big Birthday Battle" and not billed as the thirteenth series. The series also features a new twist with Gaz and Charlotte going head-to-head as team captains planning the best nights out for their team. This series includes a special episode airing on the fifth birthday, on 24 May 2016 featuring the Geordie's reactions of previous episodes. The series also includes the show's 100th episode, airing on 31 May 2016. On 1 June 2016 it was announced that original cast member Charlotte Crosby had quit the show and that this would be her final series.

The thirteenth series of Geordie Shore, a British television programme based in Newcastle upon Tyne was confirmed on 23 May 2015 when it was confirmed that MTV had renewed the series for a further three series taking it up to the thirteenth series, and began on 25 October 2016. The series was filmed in June and July 2016 and concluded on 20 December 2016. This was the first series not to include Charlotte Crosby since she made her exit during the previous series. It also features the return of former cast members Sophie Kasaei and Kyle Christie who previously made a brief return during the Big Birthday Battle anniversary series, and is the last to feature Chantelle Connelly after it was revealed she quit the show mid-series. This series was filmed in various party resort towns in island destinations, including Ayia Napa, Corfu, Kavos, Ibiza and Magaluf. It was also later announced that this would be Holly Hagan's last series after she quit in the series finale, along with Kyle Christie.

The seventeenth series of Geordie Shore, a British television programme based in Newcastle Upon Tyne was filmed in February 2018, and began airing from 15 May 2018. It concluded following twelve episodes on 31 July 2018 making this the joint longest series to date. The series was filmed in Australia rather than Newcastle, making this the second series to be filmed here following the sixth series in 2013. Ahead of the series it was announced that former cast member Holly Hagan would be making a return to the show. Six new cast members joined the series, including Grant Molloy, Adam Guthrie and four Australians, Alex MacPherson, Nick Murdoch, Dee Nguyen, and Chrysten Zenoni. Zenoni had previously appeared in the fifth series of Ex on the Beach. The new cast members were to replace Aaron Chalmers and Marnie Simpson, who both announced that they'd quit the show, and Steph Snowdon who was fired after the sixteenth series.

<i>Geordie Shore</i> (series 19) Season of television series

The nineteenth series of Geordie Shore, a British television programme based in Newcastle Upon Tyne began airing on 9 April 2019. It concluded after ten episodes on 11 June 2019. Ahead of the series it was confirmed that four new cast had joined; Beau Brennan, Tahlia Chung, Bethan Kershaw and Natalie Phillips. They replaced former cast member Faith Mullen who did not return to the show. This series also marks the end for Scott Timlin and Alex MacPherson, and original cast members Sophie Kasaei and Holly Hagan. Chloe Ferry also announced her departure from the show, but later returned for the next series. Despite not being official cast members, Abbie Holborn and Adam Guthrie continued to make appearances throughout the series.

<i>Geordie Shore</i> (series 20) Season of television series

The twentieth series of Geordie Shore, a British television programme based in Newcastle upon Tyne began airing on 29 October 2019 and concluded on 24 December 2019 following ten episodes. After the departures of Holly Hagan, Scott Timlin, Sophie Kasaei from the previous series, it was confirmed that former cast members Abbie Holborn and James Tindale would be returning to the show as their replacements. Filming locations include a trip to the Algarve in Portugal. As well as this, former cast member Adam Guthrie made regular appearances throughout. This series was also the last to feature Sam Gowland and Tahlia Chung.

<i>Geordie Shore: The Reunion Series</i> Season of television series

The twenty-third series of Geordie Shore, a British television programme based in Newcastle upon Tyne was confirmed on 15 February 2022, when Paramount+ introduced their new lineup of unscripted series and renewals for MTV Entertainment Studios, including the show's new spin-off, although they were scheduled to start in late 2020 and 2021 but have been postponed several times due to UK COVID-19 restrictions. Filming locations include a trip to the Algarve in Portugal, Ibiza and Newcastle upon Tyne. The first trailer for the season was released in late August 2022 and premiered later that year on September 20. This was the final series to feature Marty McKenna after he was suspended from MTV. This series appears as "Geordie Shore: The Reunion Series" and not as a spin off of the show. This series brings together the cast members to celebrate Geordie Shore's 10th anniversary.
