The twentieth series of Geordie Shore , a British television programme based in Newcastle upon Tyne began airing on 29 October 2019 and concluded on 24 December 2019 following ten episodes. [1] After the departures of Holly Hagan, Scott Timlin, Sophie Kasaei from the previous series, [2] it was confirmed that former cast members Abbie Holborn and James Tindale would be returning to the show as their replacements. [3] Filming locations include a trip to the Algarve in Portugal. As well as this, former cast member Adam Guthrie made regular appearances throughout. This series was also the last to feature Sam Gowland and Tahlia Chung.

The Geordies return to the house with a different dynamic following Sam and Chloe’s split, and the rest worry how it’ll effect group situations. James is delighted to be back where he belongs, and Bethan is nervous when Abbie returns. Beau jumps to the wrong conclusion when he accuses Bethan of flirting with James, whilst Sam and Chloe feel awkward around each other. Beau soon realises he was in the wrong as he apologises to Bethan, but she tells him she needs space. Elsewhere Tahlia and James share a kiss, and Sam dreads an imminent conversation with Chloe.

Chloe wonders whether coming back to the house with Sam was the right thing to do, whilst Beau fixes his problems with Bethan. The group host another wild house party where Tahlia and James grow closer, and Chloe breaks down due to the on-going tension between her and Sam. Chloe and Sam leave the house to discuss their future, and return to announce they’re going to give their relationship another go. Chloe sees red when she doesn’t get the support she expected from the other girls.

Following the drama from the night before, Chloe refuses to speak to any of the girls for not having her back, whilst Sam asks the boys to respect his relationship. Bethan worries that Chloe has made the wrong decision by getting back with Sam, and she begins to see it for herself when he gives her no attention on a night out. Nathan gives Chloe and Sam an ultimatum for one of them to leave the house in order for the situation to be resolved but neither are willing to move out. Meanwhile Tahlia feels awkward when James brings a girl back, and Abbie confesses a secret to James about her time with Chloe in Ibiza.

As Anna sends the group off to Portugal, Sam stays at home after realising it’s the perfect opportunity to give Chloe the space she needs. Bethan tries to squash the issue with Abbie but it’s a case of keeping her enemies closer when she admits she still doesn’t trust her around Beau. Chloe drowns her sorrows in the Algarve as she attempts to move on from Sam, whilst Tahlia and James end up in bed together again. Bethan unleashes her fury at Abbie when she catches her having an innocent conversation with Beau, and a distressed Chloe cries herself to sleep thinking about Sam.

Tahlia wastes no time friendzoning James when she realises there’s no chemistry between them. Bethan and Abbie’s fallout causes an unfriendly atmosphere within the group leaving Nathan no choice but to intervene. Elsewhere Nat causes ructions by accusing Abbie of flirting with her, and labels Bethan’s relationship with Beau toxic. When Anna orders the gang to pack their bags and return home Abbie and Bethan finally call a truce for the sake of the family, Nat considers leaving after seeing the upset caused from the night before, and Beau is let in on Chloe’s secret betrayal.

Nat decides to spend time with her girlfriend when the pressure of living in the house gets too much for her, and Beau asks Bethan to be his girlfriend. Bethan becomes increasingly jealous of Nat as Chloe sings her praises in a taxi home – and it all explodes when she decides to get things off her chest. Tahlia is spoilt for choice when James and Adam go head-to-head for her attention, Nathan visits Sam to see where his head’s at, and James contemplates exposing the truth about Ibiza.

Nathan begins an online relationship but is nervous about meeting him for the first time, and Tahlia and James realise they’re much happier as friends. Chloe and Sam return after patching things up, Nathan plans a camping trip for the boys whilst Bethan plans a sophisticated day out for the girls. Chloe’s Mum questions Bethan on what she thinks of Chloe and Sam’s situation, and James tells Abbie that Sam needs to know the truth about Chloe.

Chloe is devastated when Sam puts her on the spot by questioning her about the kiss, but she’s quick to point the finger at Abbie for ruining her relationship. Abbie is racked with guilt when Sam demands the whole truth from her, whilst Bethan plans a birthday surprise for Beau. Following a night of intense drama, Sam calls it a day on his relationship with Chloe and leaves the house for good. Elsewhere, the group prepare for Beau’s birthday party, and Chloe follows her heart.

Bethan gives Beau a birthday he won’t forget, whilst Abbie is shocked by her Nana’s behaviour at the party. Nathan is over the moon by how his night with Tommy went, and Anna sends James and Beau on a “Butlers in the Buff” job for a very special client – Abbie’s Nana. James admits the group dynamics are better without Chloe and Sam’s turbulent relationship in the house, but Abbie is scared it’s all going to go downhill when Chloe makes her imminent return.

Abbie is far from impressed by Chloe’s return to the house, but Bethan is over the moon to see her friend. As the group begin planning their final night on the town, Nathan decides to invite Tommy, whilst Sam decides to give it a miss for the sake of the family. Chloe heads home early after coming to a realisation regarding her relationship with Sam, and Nathan is disappointed when Tommy goes back to Amsterdam. Following one last crazy night, Beau, James and Nathan release their inner child and built a fort to sleep in. Nathan suggests they all set goals for next time.

The series concluded on 18 December 2012 with a double bill after 8 episodes, the series ended on a double bill to avoid the final episode airing on Christmas Day. This was the first series to feature Daniel Thomas-Tuck and Scott Timlin and is the highest rated series to date with 4 episodes receiving over 1,000,000 viewers. The series includes Vicky and Ricci's ongoing arguments continue to the point of the engagement being temporarily called off, James leaving Holly distraught by the announcement of him having a girlfriend, and a huge bust-up between Vicky and Sophie which has the whole house divided.

The seventh series of Geordie Shore, a British television programme based in Newcastle upon Tyne, was announced on 5 July 2013 after cast members Holly Hagan and Vicky Pattison had been arrested for assault on a night out during filming. The series began on 17 September 2013, just three weeks after Series 6 had concluded, and finished airing on 22 October 2013 after six episodes. This series had a shorter run that usual due to filming being postponed after the night of the assault. It was reported that filming for the series began on 26 June 2013 as the cast members had all been absent from Twitter since then. This was the last series to feature Sophie Kasaei after she was axed from the series following a racial slur. It was also the first series to feature Sophie's cousin, Marnie Simpson and included the brief return of Jay Gardner, who had previously featured in series one to three, and again during the sixth series for two episodes. Following Vicky's arrest, she was absent from the final half of the series. Geordie Shore: Big Birthday Battle, a spin-off series of Geordie Shore, a British television programme based in Newcastle upon Tyne was confirmed on 6 February 2016 following cast member Scott's win on Celebrity Big Brother it was announced that he'd be filming for the next series of Geordie Shore the next day. However, on 12 February 2016 it was confirmed that the cast past and present would be reuniting for a mini-series to celebrate five years of the show. The series began airing on 10 May 2016. It features all of the current cast members and the return of former cast members Daniel Thomas-Tuck, James Tindale, Jay Gardner, Kyle Christie, Ricci Guarnaccio and Sophie Kasaei. The only past cast members that did not return for this series were Greg Lake, Rebecca Walker and Vicky Pattison. This series is classified as "Geordie Shore: Big Birthday Battle" and not billed as the thirteenth series. The series also features a new twist with Gaz and Charlotte going head-to-head as team captains planning the best nights out for their team. This series includes a special episode airing on the fifth birthday, on 24 May 2016 featuring the Geordie's reactions of previous episodes. The series also includes the show's 100th episode, airing on 31 May 2016. On 1 June 2016 it was announced that original cast member Charlotte Crosby had quit the show and that this would be her final series.

The fourteenth series of Geordie Shore, a British television programme based in Newcastle upon Tyne, was confirmed on 31 October 2016 when cast member Scotty T announced that he would be taking a break from the series to focus on other commitments. The series was filmed in November 2016, and began airing on 28 March 2017. Ahead of the series, it was also confirmed that original cast member Holly Hagan had quit the show, following her exit in the previous series. On 28 February 2017, it was announced that eight new cast members had joined for this series. Zahida Allen, Chelsea Barber, Sam Bentham, Sarah Goodhart, Abbie Holborn, Elettra Lamborghini, Billy Phillips and Eve Shannon all appeared throughout the series hoping to become permanent members of the cast, and in the series finale, Holborn was chosen. Goodhart and Allen both previously appeared on Ex on the Beach, with the former appearing on the third series of the show as the ex-girlfriend of current Geordie Shore cast member Marty McKenna. Lamborghini has also appeared on Super Shore and participated in the fifth season of Gran Hermano VIP, the Spanish version of Celebrity Big Brother. It was also confirmed that Scotty T would return later in the series.

The fifteenth series of Geordie Shore, a British television programme based in Newcastle upon Tyne, was confirmed on 8 August 2017 when a teaser video was released. The series began on 29 August 2017, and concluded after nine episodes on 17 October 2017. This was the final series to include Scotty T and Marty McKenna after they were both axed from the show, as well as original cast member Gaz Beadle following his decision to quit. The series also featured the brief return of Elettra Lamborghini, when the cast jetted off to Rome. The series included further twists in Aaron and Marnie's turbulent relationship, a newly single Gaz getting cosy with Abbie, as well as Chloe and Nathan's friendship facing its biggest strain to date. The sixteenth series of Geordie Shore, a British television programme based in Newcastle Upon Tyne was filmed in September 2017 and began on 9 January 2018, and concluded after ten episodes on 13 March 2018. This is the first series not to include original cast member Gaz Beadle after he quit the show for personal reasons. New cast members for this series include Sam Gowland, who had previously appeared on the third series of Love Island, as well as Steph Snowdon. However it was later revealed that Steph had been axed from the show and would therefore not return for the seventeenth series.

The seventeenth series of Geordie Shore, a British television programme based in Newcastle Upon Tyne was filmed in February 2018, and began airing from 15 May 2018. It concluded following twelve episodes on 31 July 2018 making this the joint longest series to date. The series was filmed in Australia rather than Newcastle, making this the second series to be filmed here following the sixth series in 2013. Ahead of the series it was announced that former cast member Holly Hagan would be making a return to the show. Six new cast members joined the series, including Grant Molloy, Adam Guthrie and four Australians, Alex MacPherson, Nick Murdoch, Dee Nguyen, and Chrysten Zenoni. Zenoni had previously appeared in the fifth series of Ex on the Beach. The new cast members were to replace Aaron Chalmers and Marnie Simpson, who both announced that they'd quit the show, and Steph Snowdon who was fired after the sixteenth series.

The eighteenth series of Geordie Shore, a British television programme based in Newcastle Upon Tyne was filmed in July 2018 and began airing on 16 October 2018. It concluded after ten episodes on 18 December 2018. This was the first series to include new cast member Faith Mullen. <i>Geordie Shore</i> (series 21) Season of television series

The twenty-first series of Geordie Shore, a British television program based in Newcastle upon Tyne, began airing on 28 July 2020 and concluded following eight episodes on 15 September 2020. The series was due to begin earlier in the year, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, production on the series was put on hiatus. Ahead of the series it was confirmed that three new cast members had joined the show, Ant Kennedy, Louis Shaw, and former The X Factor and Celebrity Big Brother contestant Amelia Lily. These replace former cast Sam Gowland and Tahlia Chung. During the series Nat Phillips and Beau Brennan made their final appearance.

Geordie Shore OGs was a British reality television series broadcast on MTV developed as a sequel to Geordie Shore. The series reunited the original cast members, alongside their children, friends, and new faces, and followed their personal and professional lives. It premiered on 14 August 2019. MTV renewed the series for a fourth and final season which premiered on 13 July 2021.

<i>Geordie Shore: Hot Single Summer</i> Season of television series

The twenty-second season of Geordie Shore, a British television show based in Newcastle upon Tyne, began airing on 5 October 2021. The announcement of this series replaced the show's tenth anniversary reunion series that was due to be set in Colombia, but was delayed in November 2020, and again in January 2021, before being postponed entirely due to travel restrictions thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic and continued UK restrictions. Before filming began in June 2021, the cast had to be quarantined for ten days. This season features a dating show format, where the current cast were joined by a number of new single cast members and sent on dates with them, with an added twist of eliminations for those who fail to make romantic connections. It also includes the return of Marty McKenna, who made his last appearance in the fifteenth season.

<i>Geordie Shore: The Reunion Series</i> Season of television series

The twenty-third series of Geordie Shore, a British television programme based in Newcastle upon Tyne was confirmed on 15 February 2022, when Paramount+ introduced their new lineup of unscripted series and renewals for MTV Entertainment Studios, including the show's new spin-off, although they were scheduled to start in late 2020 and 2021 but have been postponed several times due to UK COVID-19 restrictions. Filming locations include a trip to the Algarve in Portugal, Ibiza and Newcastle upon Tyne. The first trailer for the season was released in late August 2022 and premiered later that year on September 20. This was the final series to feature Marty McKenna after he was suspended from MTV. This series appears as "Geordie Shore: The Reunion Series" and not as a spin off of the show. This series brings together the cast members to celebrate Geordie Shore's 10th anniversary.

<i>Geordie Shore</i> (series 24) British television programme

The twenty-fourth series of Geordie Shore, a British television programme based in Newcastle upon Tyne was confirmed on 6 December 2023, and began airing on 9 January 2024. After last season the original cast reunited again in a mansion in Cyprus. Bethan Kershaw, Amelia Lily, Anthony Kennedy and Louis Shan did not return to the show after the previous season.
