The seventh series of Geordie Shore , a British television programme based in Newcastle upon Tyne, was announced on 5 July 2013 after cast members Holly Hagan and Vicky Pattison had been arrested for assault on a night out during filming. [1] [2] The series began on 17 September 2013, just three weeks after Series 6 had concluded, and finished airing on 22 October 2013 after six episodes. This series had a shorter run that usual due to filming being postponed after the night of the assault. It was reported that filming for the series began on 26 June 2013 as the cast members had all been absent from Twitter since then. [3] [4] This was the last series to feature Sophie Kasaei after she was axed from the series following a racial slur. It was also the first series to feature Sophie's cousin, Marnie Simpson and included the brief return of Jay Gardner, who had previously featured in series one to three, and again during the sixth series for two episodes. Following Vicky's arrest, she was absent from the final half of the series. This series included the cast members taking part in a number of activities on their bucket list, new cast member Marnie isolating herself after breaking up the friendship between Gaz and Scott, and Jay returning to fix the drift between the cast members.

The arrival of Sophie's cousin, Marnie causes tension in the house and Holly is far from impressed when she sees her flirting with Scott. Gaz is surprised when he gets close with Charlotte again despite her having a boyfriend, and determined to fix all the problems in the group, Vicky warns Charlotte and Marnie about their behaviour towards both boys. For their bucket list, Charlotte gets pet chickens for the house, whilst James and Vicky attempt to fly a plane. Marnie and Scott's continuous flirting angers the girls in the group and Gaz thinks he's losing his best friend. An argument with Marnie after a night out with causes Scott to wreck the house then leave before returning the next morning. Charlotte has relationship troubles at home so leaves the house to fix things with Mitch. Sophie loses patience with her cousin until Joel arrives to fix the family divide. Charlotte is distraught after hearing that Egg has died, and the group go to a memorial at the beach to spread his ashes. Anna reveals that Sophie and Vicky have left the house. Holly's 21st birthday causes drama as she prepares for a huge house party, but following an argument with her about Kate, James leaves the house refusing to go to the party. Scott and Marnie clash as Marnie kisses one of Scott's friends after originally agreeing not to. Gaz is shocked at Marnie when she climbs into bed with him and her friend, but she then worries that Scott may find out. | ||||

When Anna asks Gaz and Marnie to go to work together, Charlotte and Holly are convinced they will get up to something behind Scott's back so hatch a plan to follow them. After seeing the pair flirting, Charlotte and Holly have no choice but confront them causing a huge fight in a club. With Marnie leaving the house following the events, Scott also decides to take a break. Jay returns to the house to fix all the problems. To clear the air, Scott rejoins the group as they all go on a trip to Scotland, but there's clear tension between Gaz and Scott. | ||||

Jay leaves the house having brought the family back together, but there’s still one thing on everybody’s mind; Marnie! The girls make a scene when she returns to patch things up with Scott, and Charlotte is left questioning the boy’s loyalties. Holly worries that Gaz and Charlotte are getting close again, and Marnie finally makes amends with the girls when they see her dancing on her own all night. The group head to London for their item on their bucket list, where Marnie gives Scott an ultimatum and Mitch turns up on a night out drunk and kicking off with Charlotte. Holly continues to wallow as it sinks in that Charlotte chose Mitch over the group, and she has a lot of apologising to do when she returns to the house. After overhearing a negative conversation about her boyfriend, Charlotte has no choice but to pack her bags and leave. Marnie considers having sex with Scott but is left red faced when she catches him attempting to pull girls on the last night. Holly gets emotional after realising nobody cares about family night anymore, and Gaz plans the last item on the bucket list. With Marnie and Scott still confused over their feeling for each other, everybody says goodbye before leaving the house. |

Geordie Shore is a British reality television series that has been broadcast on MTV from 24 May 2011. Based in Newcastle upon Tyne, England, it was the British offshoot of the American show Jersey Shore. The programme follows the daily lives of 8–12 housemates, as they live together for a number of weeks. In the first series, the house was located in Jesmond, a suburb of Newcastle. Since the second series, the show has used a house in the Oceana Business Park in Wallsend.
The first series of Geordie Shore, a British television programme based in Newcastle upon Tyne, began airing on 24 May 2011 on MTV. The series concluded on 12 July 2011 after 6 episodes and 2 specials including a reunion show hosted by Russell Kane and an episode counting down the best bits of the series. From 23 August 2011 until 30 August 2011, 2 Magaluf specials aired on MTV, however these episodes are featured on the series 2 DVD. The series included the turbulent relationship of Holly with Dan coming to an end, the beginning of Gaz and Charlotte's ongoing love/hate relationship, and Jay and Vicky's rocky relationship. This was the only series to feature Greg Lake.
The second series of Geordie Shore, a British television programme based in Newcastle upon Tyne, began airing on 31 January 2012 on MTV. The series concluded on 3 April 2012 after 8 episodes and 2 specials including a reunion show presented by Russell Kane and an episode counting down the best bits of the series. This was the first series to feature Rebecca Walker and Ricci Guarnaccio. The series featured Sophie and Joel's rocky relationship coming to an end, Vicky being torn between her boyfriend Dan and new cast member Ricci, Charlotte admitting she's finally had enough of seeing Gaz with other girls, and the beginning of Holly and James.
The third series of Geordie Shore, a British television programme based in Newcastle upon Tyne, began airing on 26 June 2012 on MTV. The series concluded on 28 August 2012 after 8 episodes and 2 specials including a best bits episode and an episode counting down the top 10 moments from the series. This series is also known as Chaos in Cancun as it is the only series to be filmed in Cancún, Mexico, and it is the last series to feature Jay Gardner until his return in series 6 and Rebecca Walker. This series featured Vicky and Ricci's relationship on the rocks before they finally got engaged, Holly and James growing closer when James breaks his leg, and more bickering and flirting between Gaz and Charlotte.
The fourth series of Geordie Shore, a British television programme based in Newcastle upon Tyne, began airing on 6 November 2012 on MTV. The series concluded on 18 December 2012 with a double bill after 8 episodes, the series ended on a double bill to avoid the final episode airing on Christmas Day. This was the first series to feature Daniel Thomas-Tuck and Scott Timlin and is the highest rated series to date with 4 episodes receiving over 1,000,000 viewers. The series includes Vicky and Ricci's ongoing arguments continue to the point of the engagement being temporarily called off, James leaving Holly distraught by the announcement of him having a girlfriend, and a huge bust-up between Vicky and Sophie which has the whole house divided.
The fifth series of Geordie Shore, a British television programme based in Newcastle upon Tyne, began airing on 19 February 2013 on MTV. The series concluded on 16 April 2013 after 8 episodes and a special episode counting down the best bits from the series. This series was filmed in Newcastle upon Tyne with the cast visiting various locations around Europe, including Amsterdam, Barcelona, Prague and Tignes. This was the final series to feature cast members Daniel Thomas-Tuck, and Ricci Guarnaccio, who departed the series following the breakdown of his relationship with Vicky Pattison. The series focused heavily on Charlotte finally being honest with Gaz about her feelings towards him, a rift growing between Holly and James following instructions from girlfriend Kate, and the end of Ricci and Vicky's turbulent relationship.
The sixth series of Geordie Shore, a British television programme based in Newcastle upon Tyne, began airing on 9 July 2013, and concluded after 8 episodes concluding on 27 August 2013. Filming began for this series in April 2013 and concluded in May. This series was the first to be filmed in Australia. Former cast member Jay Gardner returned as a guest, who had originally appeared in the show from series one to three. This series focused heavily on Gaz and Scott being isolated from the group after putting getting with girls before the rest of the group, leading to a fight with James, Charlotte feeling homesick and considering leaving the series for her boyfriend Mitch, and a new blossoming romance between Vicky and Dan Conn.
The eighth series of Geordie Shore, a British television programme based in Newcastle upon Tyne was confirmed in October 2013 after cast member Holly Hagan announced it on Twitter and is expected to air 22 July 2014. Filming began for this series on 25 March 2014. This series will be the first not to feature former cast member Sophie Kasaei after she was axed during the seventh series following a racial slur. All other cast members from the previous series return with the addition of new cast member Aaron Chalmers who had briefly appeared during series two of the show as a one-night stand of Holly's. In May 2014, Gaz announced that the series would begin in July. An exclusive first trailer for the series was released during an episode of Ex On The Beach on 3 June 2014. It was revealed on 10 June 2014 that another new cast member had joined, 21-year-old Kyle Christie.
The ninth series of Geordie Shore, a British television programme based in Newcastle upon Tyne, was confirmed on 12 July 2014, and began on 28 October 2014. It was also announced that the cast would travel to Paris and Somerset. All cast members from the previous series returned. Before the series launch, cast member Vicky Pattison announced that this would be her final series. She had appeared in the show since the first series.
The tenth series of Geordie Shore, a British television programme based in Newcastle upon Tyne was confirmed on 1 November 2014, and began airing on 7 April 2015. This will be the first series not to include original cast member Vicky Pattison after she departed at the end of the previous series. Ahead of the series it was confirmed that new cast members Chloe Ferry and Nathan Henry had joined the show.
Geordie Shore: Big Birthday Battle, a spin-off series of Geordie Shore, a British television programme based in Newcastle upon Tyne was confirmed on 6 February 2016 following cast member Scott's win on Celebrity Big Brother it was announced that he'd be filming for the next series of Geordie Shore the next day. However, on 12 February 2016 it was confirmed that the cast past and present would be reuniting for a mini-series to celebrate five years of the show. The series began airing on 10 May 2016. It features all of the current cast members and the return of former cast members Daniel Thomas-Tuck, James Tindale, Jay Gardner, Kyle Christie, Ricci Guarnaccio and Sophie Kasaei. The only past cast members that did not return for this series were Greg Lake, Rebecca Walker and Vicky Pattison. This series is classified as "Geordie Shore: Big Birthday Battle" and not billed as the thirteenth series. The series also features a new twist with Gaz and Charlotte going head-to-head as team captains planning the best nights out for their team. This series includes a special episode airing on the fifth birthday, on 24 May 2016 featuring the Geordie's reactions of previous episodes. The series also includes the show's 100th episode, airing on 31 May 2016. On 1 June 2016 it was announced that original cast member Charlotte Crosby had quit the show and that this would be her final series.
The thirteenth series of Geordie Shore, a British television programme based in Newcastle upon Tyne was confirmed on 23 May 2015 when it was confirmed that MTV had renewed the series for a further three series taking it up to the thirteenth series, and began on 25 October 2016. The series was filmed in June and July 2016 and concluded on 20 December 2016. This was the first series not to include Charlotte Crosby since she made her exit during the previous series. It also features the return of former cast members Sophie Kasaei and Kyle Christie who previously made a brief return during the Big Birthday Battle anniversary series, and is the last to feature Chantelle Connelly after it was revealed she quit the show mid-series. This series was filmed in various party resort towns in island destinations, including Ayia Napa, Corfu, Kavos, Ibiza and Magaluf. It was also later announced that this would be Holly Hagan's last series after she quit in the series finale, along with Kyle Christie.
The fourteenth series of Geordie Shore, a British television programme based in Newcastle upon Tyne, was confirmed on 31 October 2016 when cast member Scotty T announced that he would be taking a break from the series to focus on other commitments. The series was filmed in November 2016, and began airing on 28 March 2017. Ahead of the series, it was also confirmed that original cast member Holly Hagan had quit the show, following her exit in the previous series. On 28 February 2017, it was announced that eight new cast members had joined for this series. Zahida Allen, Chelsea Barber, Sam Bentham, Sarah Goodhart, Abbie Holborn, Elettra Lamborghini, Billy Phillips and Eve Shannon all appeared throughout the series hoping to become permanent members of the cast, and in the series finale, Holborn was chosen. Goodhart and Allen both previously appeared on Ex on the Beach, with the former appearing on the third series of the show as the ex-girlfriend of current Geordie Shore cast member Marty McKenna. Lamborghini has also appeared on Super Shore and participated in the fifth season of Gran Hermano VIP, the Spanish version of Celebrity Big Brother. It was also confirmed that Scotty T would return later in the series.
The seventeenth series of Geordie Shore, a British television programme based in Newcastle Upon Tyne was filmed in February 2018, and began airing from 15 May 2018. It concluded following twelve episodes on 31 July 2018 making this the joint longest series to date. The series was filmed in Australia rather than Newcastle, making this the second series to be filmed here following the sixth series in 2013. Ahead of the series it was announced that former cast member Holly Hagan would be making a return to the show. Six new cast members joined the series, including Grant Molloy, Adam Guthrie and four Australians, Alex MacPherson, Nick Murdoch, Dee Nguyen, and Chrysten Zenoni. Zenoni had previously appeared in the fifth series of Ex on the Beach. The new cast members were to replace Aaron Chalmers and Marnie Simpson, who both announced that they'd quit the show, and Steph Snowdon who was fired after the sixteenth series.
The nineteenth series of Geordie Shore, a British television programme based in Newcastle Upon Tyne began airing on 9 April 2019. It concluded after ten episodes on 11 June 2019. Ahead of the series it was confirmed that four new cast had joined; Beau Brennan, Tahlia Chung, Bethan Kershaw and Natalie Phillips. They replaced former cast member Faith Mullen who did not return to the show. This series also marks the end for Scott Timlin and Alex MacPherson, and original cast members Sophie Kasaei and Holly Hagan. Chloe Ferry also announced her departure from the show, but later returned for the next series. Despite not being official cast members, Abbie Holborn and Adam Guthrie continued to make appearances throughout the series.
Geordie Shore OGs was a British reality television series broadcast on MTV developed as a sequel to Geordie Shore. The series reunited the original cast members, alongside their children, friends, and new faces, and followed their personal and professional lives. It premiered on 14 August 2019. MTV renewed the series for a fourth and final season which premiered on 13 July 2021.
The twenty-third series of Geordie Shore, a British television programme based in Newcastle upon Tyne was confirmed on 15 February 2022, when Paramount+ introduced their new lineup of unscripted series and renewals for MTV Entertainment Studios, including the show's new spin-off, although they were scheduled to start in late 2020 and 2021 but have been postponed several times due to UK COVID-19 restrictions. Filming locations include a trip to the Algarve in Portugal, Ibiza and Newcastle upon Tyne. The first trailer for the season was released in late August 2022 and premiered later that year on September 20. This was the final series to feature Marty McKenna after he was suspended from MTV. This series appears as "Geordie Shore: The Reunion Series" and not as a spin off of the show. This series brings together the cast members to celebrate Geordie Shore's 10th anniversary.
The twenty-fourth series of Geordie Shore, a British television programme based in Newcastle upon Tyne was confirmed on 6 December 2023, and began airing on 9 January 2024. After last season the original cast reunited again in a mansion in Cyprus. Bethan Kershaw, Amelia Lily, Anthony Kennedy and Louis Shan did not return to the show after the previous season.
