The nineteenth series of Geordie Shore , a British television programme based in Newcastle Upon Tyne began airing on 9 April 2019. [1] It concluded after ten episodes on 11 June 2019. Ahead of the series it was confirmed that four new cast had joined; Beau Brennan, Tahlia Chung, Bethan Kershaw and Natalie Phillips. [2] They replaced former cast member Faith Mullen who did not return to the show. [3] This series also marks the end for Scott Timlin and Alex MacPherson, and original cast members Sophie Kasaei and Holly Hagan. [4] Chloe Ferry also announced her departure from the show, but later returned for the next series. Despite not being official cast members, Abbie Holborn and Adam Guthrie continued to make appearances throughout the series.

Scotty T drags the group back to the house for more work, but they’re shocked by the amount of absences. However it’s not long before newbies Beau, Bethan, Nat and Tahlia make themselves at home. There’s an instant connection between Beau and Bethan, but he also has his sights on Tahlia. Elsewhere Chloe and Nathan have a heart-to-heart about the breakdown of the relationship with his boyfriend, Tahlia is determined to move on from her ex-boyfriend, and Scotty T takes the workers on a journey they’ll never forget. Nat is there to support a broken Nathan.

Nathan decides to embrace being single rather than feeling sorry for himself, and the group plan a house party in order to lift everybody’s spirits. Chloe is jealous of the attention Sophie receives from her boyfriend, feeling that Sam doesn’t give her enough, whilst Bethan and Beau admit to liking each other. Chloe is far from impressed when Nathan dares Tahlia and Beau to kiss during a trip to work, Sophie finds it difficult to separate herself from her boyfriend, and Abbie re-joins the group for a night out. The night quickly descends into chaos when Bethan catches Beau giving Abbie a kiss.

It’s the morning after the night before and Beau’s concerned that Bethan won’t accept his apology. Elsewhere Nathan is hurt when Chloe doesn’t invite him to a girls night back at home, and Sam meets with Adam for a catch-up. Nathan and Chloe agree to disagree for the sake of their friendship, Beau tells Bethan that he’s still keen on getting to know her, whilst Tahlia lets her hair down and goes on the pull. Beau admits to feeling pressured by the others and would rather things develop naturally with Bethan, as Nat worries how her girlfriend will react following a drunken snog with Nathan.

Chloe feels like a third wheel in her own relationship as Sam and Nathan begin to spend more time together, as Anna sends the group to Belfast in their new bus. Beau admits to genuinely liking Bethan but wants to take things slowly, Sophie feels lost in the house without her boyfriend, and Tahlia finally begins to come out of her shell. After a few too many, Chloe loses her temper with Sam leaving him shocked by her accusations. Elsewhere Bethan can’t resist Beau’s charm any longer, and a distraught Chloe tells Sam that they need to go on a break.

Sophie is fed up of the drama in the house and contemplates leaving it all behind, whilst Nathan tries to fix the rift between Chloe and Sam. Sam learns that Chloe’s insecurities from her past relationships have been causing her lack of trust, and the pair decide to work around it. Sophie is knocked for six when Alex returns to the house leaving her with a huge decision to make about her future, and the group try out “Disco Dodgeball” for Anna. Tahlia enjoys the attention received from Alex, meanwhile Sophie sneaks off during a night out to pack her bags and leave the house for good.

Nathan meets up with Sophie to hear that she has no regrets to leaving the house, but would consider returning part time. Bethan is wary of Beau around Abbie when Scotty T sends the group on a singles night, whilst Nathan gets the man of his dreams. Beau faces Bethan’s wrath after his conversation with Abbie comes to light, Sam plans a gesture for Chloe in order to boost her self-esteem, and Tahlia and Adam share a kiss. Bethan bites the bullet to try and salvage what she and Beau have, but things go from bad to worse when he tells her their romance can’t continue.

Alex has some explaining to do when Beau notices him and Bethan flirting with each other on a night out. Tahlia confronts Nat over her patronising behaviour, whilst Sam surprises Chloe with a shopping trip. Bethan and Alex come to blows when neither take responsibility for flirting, leaving Scotty T to pick up the pieces during another day at work. Elsewhere Beau has a heart to heart with Chloe about his past relationships, and the only singles in the group Tahlia, Nathan and Alex get close in the hot tub. Bethan is over the moon when Beau agrees to giving her another chance.

Scotty T sends the group to Cardiff for work, and Beau is delighted that he’ll get to see his brother who lives there. Bethan tells the girls that she’s happy with how her relationship with Beau is going; however he tells the boys that he’s not ready for a relationship with her yet. Elsewhere Alex has an accident during a water sports session, and Scotty T calls an end to the trip. The Geordies defy Scotty T by staying another night in Cardiff where Tahlia necks on with Beau’s brother. Beau is forced to let Bethan down gently when he realises that they aren’t on the same page.

Anna dishes out punishments when she finds out the group stayed an extra night in Cardiff. Nathan suggests throwing a house party instead of going out, where Alex feels home sick as he’s surrounded by everybody else’s family and friends. Chloe jumps to the wrong conclusion when she spots Beau speaking to Abbie, and Bethan introduces herself to Beau’s sister. Elsewhere Tahlia is spoilt for choice when she has Adam and Beau’s brother competing for her attention, and Alex decides to head back to Australia. Bethan pulls out all the stops to ensure Chloe and Sam have a romantic night.

Nathan surprises Tahlia by arranging for Beau’s brother to join them on another night out. Chloe worries about the lack of sex she’s having with Sam, whilst Bethan heard from Beau’s brother what he’s really like outside of the house. The group show their support for former family member Aaron during his MMA fight, Bethan is overjoyed when Beau tells her he’s ready to finally commit to her, and Nathan admits to being ready to move on from his ex-boyfriend. The family say an emotional farewell to each other before all going their separate ways.

The series includes Vicky and Ricci's ongoing arguments continue to the point of the engagement being temporarily called off, James leaving Holly distraught by the announcement of him having a girlfriend, and a huge bust-up between Vicky and Sophie which has the whole house divided.

The fifth series of Geordie Shore, a British television programme based in Newcastle upon Tyne, began airing on 19 February 2013 on MTV. The series concluded on 16 April 2013 after 8 episodes and a special episode counting down the best bits from the series. This series was filmed in Newcastle upon Tyne with the cast visiting various locations around Europe, including Amsterdam, Barcelona, Prague and Tignes. This was the final series to feature cast members Daniel Thomas-Tuck, and Ricci Guarnaccio, who departed the series following the breakdown of his relationship with Vicky Pattison. The series focused heavily on Charlotte finally being honest with Gaz about her feelings towards him, a rift growing between Holly and James following instructions from girlfriend Kate, and the end of Ricci and Vicky's turbulent relationship.

Filming began for this series in April 2013 and concluded in May. This series was the first to be filmed in Australia. Former cast member Jay Gardner returned as a guest, who had originally appeared in the show from series one to three. This series focused heavily on Gaz and Scott being isolated from the group after putting getting with girls before the rest of the group, leading to a fight with James, Charlotte feeling homesick and considering leaving the series for her boyfriend Mitch, and a new blossoming romance between Vicky and Dan Conn.

The seventh series of Geordie Shore, a British television programme based in Newcastle upon Tyne, was announced on 5 July 2013 after cast members Holly Hagan and Vicky Pattison had been arrested for assault on a night out during filming. The series began on 17 September 2013, just three weeks after Series 6 had concluded, and finished airing on 22 October 2013 after six episodes. This series had a shorter run that usual due to filming being postponed after the night of the assault. It was reported that filming for the series began on 26 June 2013 as the cast members had all been absent from Twitter since then. This was the last series to feature Sophie Kasaei after she was axed from the series following a racial slur. It was also the first series to feature Sophie's cousin, Marnie Simpson and included the brief return of Jay Gardner, who had previously featured in series one to three, and again during the sixth series for two episodes. Following Vicky's arrest, she was absent from the final half of the series. This series included the cast members taking part in a number of activities on their bucket list, new cast member Marnie isolating herself after breaking up the friendship between Gaz and Scott, and Jay returning to fix the drift between the cast members.

The eighth series of Geordie Shore, a British television programme based in Newcastle upon Tyne was confirmed in October 2013 after cast member Holly Hagan announced it on Twitter and is expected to air 22 July 2014. Filming began for this series on 25 March 2014. This series will be the first not to feature former cast member Sophie Kasaei after she was axed during the seventh series following a racial slur. All other cast members from the previous series return with the addition of new cast member Aaron Chalmers who had briefly appeared during series two of the show as a one-night stand of Holly's. In May 2014, Gaz announced that the series would begin in July. An exclusive first trailer for the series was released during an episode of Ex On The Beach on 3 June 2014. It was revealed on 10 June 2014 that another new cast member had joined, 21-year-old Kyle Christie.

This will be the first series not to include original cast member Vicky Pattison after she departed at the end of the previous series. The eleventh series of Geordie Shore, a British television programme based in Newcastle upon Tyne was confirmed on 23 May 2015 when it was confirmed that MTV had renewed the series for a further three series. The show began on 20 October 2015. This is the first series not to include original cast member James Tindale after he departed at the beginning of the previous series. Ahead of the series it was confirmed that the series would be filmed in Greece. In September 2015 when the series premiere was announced, it was confirmed that the cast members would air for 10 episodes, making it the longest series to date. It was also confirmed that the cast had travelled to Zante, Malia, Mykonos, Ios as well as Athens for the series.

The thirteenth series of Geordie Shore, a British television programme based in Newcastle upon Tyne was confirmed on 23 May 2015 when it was confirmed that MTV had renewed the series for a further three series taking it up to the thirteenth series, and began on 25 October 2016. The series was filmed in June and July 2016 and concluded on 20 December 2016. This was the first series not to include Charlotte Crosby since she made her exit during the previous series. It also features the return of former cast members Sophie Kasaei and Kyle Christie who previously made a brief return during the Big Birthday Battle anniversary series, and is the last to feature Chantelle Connelly after it was revealed she quit the show mid-series. This series was filmed in various party resort towns in island destinations, including Ayia Napa, Corfu, Kavos, Ibiza and Magaluf. The fourteenth series of Geordie Shore, a British television programme based in Newcastle upon Tyne, was confirmed on 31 October 2016 when cast member Scotty T announced that he would be taking a break from the series to focus on other commitments. The series was filmed in November 2016, and began airing on 28 March 2017. Ahead of the series, it was also confirmed that original cast member Holly Hagan had quit the show, following her exit in the previous series. On 28 February 2017, it was announced that eight new cast members had joined for this series. Zahida Allen, Chelsea Barber, Sam Bentham, Sarah Goodhart, Abbie Holborn, Elettra Lamborghini, Billy Phillips and Eve Shannon all appeared throughout the series hoping to become permanent members of the cast, and in the series finale, Holborn was chosen. Goodhart and Allen both previously appeared on Ex on the Beach, with the former appearing on the third series of the show as the ex-girlfriend of current Geordie Shore cast member Marty McKenna. Lamborghini has also appeared on Super Shore and participated in the fifth season of Gran Hermano VIP, the Spanish version of Celebrity Big Brother. It was also confirmed that Scotty T would return later in the series.

Sam Gowland is an English television and social media personality. He rose to fame when he participated in the third series of the ITV2 dating reality competition Love Island in 2017. After his stint on the programme, he began appearing in the MTV reality show Geordie Shore, debuting in the sixteenth series in 2018 before leaving in 2019 at the conclusion of the twentieth series.

The sixteenth series of Geordie Shore, a British television programme based in Newcastle Upon Tyne was filmed in September 2017 and began on 9 January 2018, and concluded after ten episodes on 13 March 2018. This is the first series not to include original cast member Gaz Beadle after he quit the show for personal reasons. New cast members for this series include Sam Gowland, who had previously appeared on the third series of Love Island, as well as Steph Snowdon. However it was later revealed that Steph had been axed from the show and would therefore not return for the seventeenth series.

The series was filmed in Australia rather than Newcastle, making this the second series to be filmed here following the sixth series in 2013. Ahead of the series it was announced that former cast member Holly Hagan would be making a return to the show. Six new cast members joined the series, including Grant Molloy, Adam Guthrie and four Australians, Alex MacPherson, Nick Murdoch, Dee Nguyen, and Chrysten Zenoni. Zenoni had previously appeared in the fifth series of Ex on the Beach. The new cast members were to replace Aaron Chalmers and Marnie Simpson, who both announced that they'd quit the show, and Steph Snowdon who was fired after the sixteenth series.

The twenty-first series of Geordie Shore, a British television program based in Newcastle upon Tyne, began airing on 28 July 2020 and concluded following eight episodes on 15 September 2020. The series was due to begin earlier in the year, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, production on the series was put on hiatus. Ahead of the series it was confirmed that three new cast members had joined the show, Ant Kennedy, Louis Shaw, and former The X Factor and Celebrity Big Brother contestant Amelia Lily. These replace former cast Sam Gowland and Tahlia Chung. During the series Nat Phillips and Beau Brennan made their final appearance.

Geordie Shore OGs was a British reality television series broadcast on MTV developed as a sequel to Geordie Shore. The series reunited the original cast members, alongside their children, friends, and new faces, and followed their personal and professional lives. It premiered on 14 August 2019. MTV renewed the series for a fourth and final season which premiered on 13 July 2021.

<i>Geordie Shore: The Reunion Series</i> Season of television series

The twenty-third series of Geordie Shore, a British television programme based in Newcastle upon Tyne was confirmed on 15 February 2022, when Paramount+ introduced their new lineup of unscripted series and renewals for MTV Entertainment Studios, including the show's new spin-off, although they were scheduled to start in late 2020 and 2021 but have been postponed several times due to UK COVID-19 restrictions. Filming locations include a trip to the Algarve in Portugal, Ibiza and Newcastle upon Tyne. The first trailer for the season was released in late August 2022 and premiered later that year on September 20. This was the final series to feature Marty McKenna after he was suspended from MTV. This series appears as "Geordie Shore: The Reunion Series" and not as a spin off of the show. This series brings together the cast members to celebrate Geordie Shore's 10th anniversary.

<i>Geordie Shore</i> (series 24) British television programme

The twenty-fourth series of Geordie Shore, a British television programme based in Newcastle upon Tyne was confirmed on 6 December 2023, and began airing on 9 January 2024. After last season the original cast reunited again in a mansion in Cyprus. Bethan Kershaw, Amelia Lily, Anthony Kennedy and Louis Shan did not return to the show after the previous season.
