German International School Doha (GIS Doha; German : Deutsche Internationale Schule Doha) is a German international school in Al Mamoura, Doha, Qatar. It serves Kindergarten through grade 11, and it was established in October 2008. [1]
The education system in Qatar is jointly directed and controlled by the Supreme Education Council (SEC) and the Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MOEHE) at all levels. The 1995 FIFA World Youth Championship, known as the 1995 FIFA/Coca-Cola World Youth Championship for sponsorship purposes, was the 10th edition of the FIFA World Youth Championship. It was held in Qatar from 13 to 28 April 1995. The tournament took place in three venues within the city of Doha. The tournament was originally going to be held in Nigeria, but due to the meningitis outbreak, it withdrew from hosting duties. FIFA relocated the event to Qatar.
The Doha Golf Club in Doha, Qatar is an 18-hole, 7,374-yard, par 72 championship course that was designed by Peter Harradine. The Doha Golf Club is also one of the first grass golf course ever built in the Middle East. Open to nonmembers, it has a 2 808 yards long floodlit nine-hole academy course, and a clubhouse with three restaurants and a golf shop.

The Cambridge School is a private international school that is located in Doha, Qatar, the school provides an education based on the National Curriculum for England to students from Kindergarten to Year 13. The school prepares students for the IGCSE, AS and A Level, following the Cambridge International Examinations Board. The school has grown from just under 300 students seven years ago to almost over 1,500 students with over 60 different nationalities. Some of the teachers are from the United Kingdom, although most of them are from South Africa and India. The school is founded by Mohammed Taleb Mohammed Al Khouri and managed by the Taleb Group. The Doha Metro is a rapid transit system in the Doha Metropolitan Area of Qatar's capital city Doha, which became operational on 8 May 2019. It has three lines with an approximate overall length of 76 km (47 mi) and 37 stations. It is an integral component of the larger Qatar Rail network, which will include a long-distance rail for passengers and freight, linking Qatar to the GCC, and the Lusail LRT. Capable of reaching 100 km/h (62 mph), the Doha Metro has one of the fastest driverless trains in the world.

Lycée Franco-Qatarien Voltaire is a French international school in West Bay, Doha, Qatar, in proximity to the Institut français du Qatar and the University of Qatar. As of 2015 it has 518 students.
Qatar National Theater is located on the Doha Corniche, near Al Bidda Park in Doha, Qatar. The 490-seat theatre opened in 1986 and hosts concerts and plays. In addition to hosting local troupes, it also hosts international and Arab theatrical troupes on occasion.
The Doha Institute for Graduate Studies is a higher education institute in Doha, Qatar. Its first student enrollment was in the 2015/2016 academic year. The Doha Institute is intended as a graduate studies academy; students enrolled in its programs are eligible to receive master's degrees in a variety of fields related to the social sciences and humanities.
Hamad Port is Qatar's main seaport, located south of Doha in the Umm Al-Houl area. Construction of the port began in 2010; it became operational in December 2016. It was officially opened in September 2017, and is expected to become fully operational by 2020. Capable of handling up to 7.8 million tonnes of products annually, the bulk of trade which passes through the port consists of food and building materials.
Al-Shahaniya City is a city in Qatar, located in the similarly named municipality of Al-Shahaniya.
The Amiri Diwan of the State of Qatar is the sovereign body and the administrative office of the Amir. It is the official workplace and office of the Amir of the State of Qatar. The Amiri Diwan represents the figurative and bureaucratic center of Qatar. The building also hosts the office of the Deputy Amir and the Prime Minister.
