The New Zealand national cricket team represents New Zealand in men's international cricket. Nicknamed the Black Caps,they played their first Test in 1930 against England in Christchurch,becoming the fifth country to play Test cricket. From 1930 New Zealand had to wait until 1956,more than 26 years,for its first Test victory,against the West Indies at Eden Park in Auckland. They played their first ODI in the 1972–73 season against Pakistan in Christchurch. New Zealand are the inaugural champions of WTC which they won in 2021 and they have also won ICC CT in 2000. They have played in the CWC final twice and the T20 WC final once.
Brendon Barrie McCullum is a former New Zealand cricketer and the current head coach of the England Cricket Test team. Representing New Zealand,he played all formats,including as captain. McCullum was renowned for his quick scoring,notably recording the fastest test century of all time. He is considered one of the most successful batsmen and captains of New Zealand cricket. He was named as New Zealand's captain for the first T20I against West Indies in place of Kane Williamson,who was rested for that game. The Blackcaps won that match by 47 runs. Southee was a member of the New Zealand team that won the 2019–2021 ICC World Test Championship. Southee currently has the highest (international) test batting strike rate among the batsmen with a minimum of 2000 test runs. His (batting) career strike rate is 83.12.
Suzannah Wilson Bates is a New Zealand cricketer and former captain of national women cricket team. Born at Dunedin,she plays domestic cricket for the Otago Sparks,as well as playing for the White Ferns. She currently holds the highest score and highest batting average in the New Zealand Women's Twenty20 cricket team. She won the ICC Women's ODI Cricketer of the Year 2013. Bates again won ICC Women's ODI and T20I Cricketer of the Year 2016.
Alexandra Joy Blackwell is a former professional cricketer and Australian women's cricket captain who played for New South Wales and Australia as a specialist batter. After making her international debut in 2002-2003,she went on to play more matches for Australia than any other female cricketer in history. A highlight of Blackwell's career was captaining the 2010 Women's team to World Twenty20 victory.

Ingrid van der Elst is a Dutch former sportswoman who represented her country in both cricket and field hockey. In hockey,she was a goalkeeper for the Dutch national indoor team,while in cricket she played as a right-handed batter,right-arm off break bowler and occasional wicket-keeper,and represented both the Netherlands and International XI,playing seven One Day Internationals for the latter team at the 1982 Women's Cricket World Cup. Devon Philip Conway is a South African–born New Zealand cricketer who plays for the New Zealand cricket team. In March 2020,the International Cricket Council (ICC) confirmed that Conway would be eligible to play for New Zealand from 28 August 2020. In May 2020,New Zealand Cricket awarded him a central contract,ahead of the 2020–21 season.

Amanda-Jade Wellington is an Australian cricketer. She bowls right-arm leg spin and plays for the South Australian Scorpions in the Women's National Cricket League (WNCL) and the Adelaide Strikers in the Women's Big Bash League (WBBL). Making her WNCL debut in 2012 at the age of 15,she is the youngest person to ever represent the state of South Australia in senior cricket. Since 2016 she has represented Australia in all three forms of international cricket,Tests,ODIs and T20Is.
Charlotte Ellen Dean is an English cricketer who currently plays for Hampshire,Southern Vipers and London Spirit. An all-rounder,she is a right-handed batter and right-arm off break bowler. She made her international debut for the England women's cricket team in September 2021.
