Glyptoactis is a mostly extinct genus of bivalves in the family Carditidae. They have been recovered from the Castle Hayne Limestone geologic formation in North Carolina and in France. [2]

Species according to the World Register of Marine Species as of April 2019 [update] :
Other species according to Fossilworks: [4]
Notes:
Ostrea is a genus of edible oysters, marine bivalve mollusks in the family Ostreidae, the oysters.
Barbatia is a genus of "bearded" ark clams, marine bivalve mollusks in the family Arcidae, the ark clams.
Carditidae is a family of marine bivalve clams of the order Carditida, which was long included in the Venerida. They are the type taxon of the superfamily Carditoidea.
The Gryphaeidae, common name the foam oysters or honeycomb oysters, are a family of marine bivalve mollusks, and are a kind of true oyster. This family of bivalves is very well represented in the fossil record, however the number of living species is very few.
Cerithiidae, common name the cerithiids or ceriths, is a large family of medium-sized marine gastropods in the clade Sorbeoconcha.
The Fasciolariidae, common name the "tulip snails and spindle snails", are a family of small to large sea snails, marine gastropod mollusks in the superfamily Buccinoidea.
Cominella is a genus of carnivorous sea snails, a marine gastropod mollusc in the family Cominellidae.
Aeneator is a genus of sea snails, marine gastropod molluscs in the family Buccinidae, the true whelks.
Argopecten is a genus of saltwater clams, or scallops, marine bivalve mollusks in the family Pectinidae.
Mitrella is a genus of small sea snails, marine gastropod mollusks in the family Columbellidae, the dove shells or dove snails.
Austrofusus is a genus of medium-sized sea snails or whelks, marine gastropod molluscs in the family Buccinidae, the true whelks.
Marginellinae is a taxonomic subfamily within the larger family of Marginellidae, a group of small sea snails, marine gastropod molluscs in the superfamily Volutoidea.
Borsonia is a genus of sea snails, marine gastropod mollusks in the family Borsoniidae.
Scrinium is a genus of sea snails, marine gastropod mollusks in the family Mitromorphidae, in the superfamily Conoidea the cone snails and their allies.
The Caraba Formation (Tcr) is a geologic formation in Panama. The formation was first defined in 1950 by Jones as a facies member of the Caimito Formation. The formation consists of poorly lithified, pebbly, tuffaceous, calcareous sandstones and conglomerates and preserves fossils dating back to the Early Oligocene period.
Conilithes is an extinct genus of sea snails, marine gastropod mollusks in the family Conidae, the cone snails.
Claibornicardia is an extinct genus of marine bivalve molluscs in the family Carditidae. It is sometimes considered a subgenus of either Glyptoactis or Venericardia. It has been found in the Americas and Europe.
Maurea is a genus of sea snails, marine gastropod mollusks, in the family Calliostomatidae within the superfamily Trochoidea, the top snails, turban snails and their allies.
The Alajuela Formation, originally Alhajuela Formation (Tau), is a Late Miocene geologic formation in the Panama Canal Zone of central Panama.
Nemocardium is a genus of bivalves belonging to the family Cardiidae.
