The Good Shepherd Convent is an English-medium high school in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. [1] [2] [3] [4]
The school was established in 1925 in India, the roots of the convent grew as early as in 1835 in France when Sister Mary Euphrasia, sowed the seeds for the growth of the institution which has now become one of the premier group of educational institutions in Chennai and other parts of the country. Later in 2023, she was awarded the Padma Bhushan, the third highest civilian award in India.
B.S. Abdur Rahman Crescent Institute of Science and Technology, formerly B. S. Abdur Rahman University, is a private university located in Tamil Nadu, India. Previously, functioning under University of Madras (1984–2001) and Anna University (2001–09) as Crescent Engineering College, the institute gained deemed status in 2008–09. SS Music, or Southern Spice Music, was a satellite television channel based in Chennai, India. The multilingual music channel broadcast film songs from Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada film industry. The music channel also aired mainstream international music from US, UK, Europe regions. Sudha Chandran is an Indian Bharatanatyam dancer and actress who appears in Indian television and films. In 1981, she hurt her leg in a road accident near Tiruchirapalli, Tamil Nadu while coming back from Madras with her parents. Her leg became gangrenous and her parents opted to have it amputated. However, she subsequently became an established Bharatnatyam dancer. Chandran is known for her roles of Ramola Sikand in Kaahin Kissii Roz, Yamini Singh and Seema Gujral in Naagin 1, 2, 3 and 6, Chitradevi in Deivam Thandha Veedu, the Tamil remake of Saath Nibhana Saathiya. She was awarded National Film Award – Special Jury Award for the Telugu film Mayuri which is based on her life at 33rd National Film Awards in 1985.

Chennai Book Fair is an annual book fair organized in Chennai, India by the Booksellers and Publishers Association of South India (BAPASI).
