Gran Turismo (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) is the soundtrack to the 2023 film Gran Turismo. Jointly composed by Lorne Balfe and Andrew Kawczynski,the soundtrack consisting of 17 instrumental tracks from the score,was released by Sony Classical Records on August 11,2023 in digital formats,with a physical release on August 25. In September 2022,Stephen Barton was initially recruited as the score composer. [2] But in April 2023,Lorne Balfe took over the scoring duties from Barton with Andrew Kawczynski,one of Hans Zimmer's protégé who worked in his Remote Control Productions later joined as co-composer. [3] The score was recorded at the Synchron Stage Vienna with over 100 musicians.[ citation needed ]

Mark Kermode of The Guardian called the score as "thunderously declarative" which "ensures that no manipulative beat is missed". [4] Sonya Alexander of Script wrote "Lorne Balfe and Andrew Kawczynski’s score creates an undercurrent of stealth sonic waves, driving the emotional beats of the film." [5] Justin Lowe of The Hollywood Reporter complimented the score as "engaging", [6] Owen Gilberman of Variety called it as"uplifting". [7] Edward Douglas of Below the Line wrote "Much of the excitement and emotion is driven by the score composed by Lorne Balfe and Andrew Kawczynski, although Blomkamp also uses a wide range of song choices in the storytelling from Black Sabbath (representing Salter) to the Kenny G and Enya that Jann prefers to help him get into the right headspace for getting behind the wheel." Neill Blomkamp is a South African and Canadian film director and screenwriter. He is known as the co-writer and director of the science fiction action film District 9 (2009), for which he was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay, and the director of the dystopian science fiction action film Elysium (2013), which garnered moderately positive reviews. He also directed the science fiction action film Chappie (2015) and the sports drama film Gran Turismo (2023).

The Lego Batman Movie (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) is the soundtrack to the 2017 animated film The Lego Batman Movie, which is the second instalment in The Lego Movie franchise. Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One is the soundtrack to the 2023 film Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One, the seventh instalment in the Mission: Impossible film series and the sequel to Mission: Impossible – Fallout (2018). Lorne Balfe, who composed the score for the predecessor, returned to provide music for the original planned two-part series of Dead Reckoning. The soundtrack to the film was released digitally on July 12, 2023, alongside the film by Sony Music Entertainment and Paramount Music, with a physical release to be followed on July 26, by La-La Land Records. The album was recorded in various parts of Europe with 500 musicians performing the score. The opening titles of the film were released as a single on July 6.

Two soundtracks were released for the epic biblical film Son of God: an original soundtrack and an album that featured music inspired by the film and an original soundtrack. The former featured compositions from the musical score composed by Hans Zimmer and Lorne Balfe and also featuring Lisa Gerrard; the trio worked on the History Channel television miniseries The Bible (2013), created by Mark Burnett and Roma Downey, who also produced the film under the Lightworkers Media. The album also consisted of remixed songs from CeeLo Green, OneRepublic, Sara Bareilles amongst others. The latter was distributed by Word Entertainment that featured contributions from Christian music artists Francesca Battistelli, Chris August, Dara Maclean, Sidewalk Prophets amongst others. Both the albums were released on February 25, 2014, three days before the film's release.
