Simpsonville is a city in Greenville County, South Carolina. It is part of the Greenville-Mauldin-Easley Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 22,234 at the 2020 census, up from 18,238 in 2010. Simpsonville is part of the "Golden Strip", along with Mauldin and Fountain Inn, an area which is noted for having low unemployment due to a diversity of industries including H.B. Fuller, KEMET, Sealed Air and Milliken.

The McMaster School, built in 1911, is an historic building located at 1106 Pickens Street on the corner of Senate Street in Columbia, South Carolina. It was designed by noted Columbia architect William Augustus Edwards of the firm of Edwards and Walter. Edwards and his partner, Frank C. Walter, designed sixteen schools according to standardized guidelines established by the state legislature in 1905. The architects chose a Renaissance Revival style with H-shaped floor plans used as the standard for the state in buildings designed and constructed by other architects. The State newspaper declared it the "handsomest school building in Columbia" when it opened in 1911.

The Greyhound Bus Depot is a former Greyhound Lines intercity bus station in Columbia, South Carolina. It is at 1200 Blanding Street in downtown Columbia. The depot was named to the National Register of Historic Places on December 28, 1989. After the bus terminal was closed, the building became a bank. Currently, it is a physician's office.

Downtown Baptist Church, is a historic church building located at 101 W. McBee Avenue in Greenville, South Carolina. It was constructed in 1858 as the new home of First Baptist Church of Greenville, replacing an earlier structure on the banks of the Reedy River. The congregation of First Baptist Church vacated the site for a new campus on Cleveland Street in the late 1970s at which time a minority of the congregation elected to remain at the downtown site and start a new church under the name Downtown Baptist Church.

Greer Heritage Museum is a local history museum in Greer, South Carolina, near the Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport. The museum was founded by Carmela B. Hudson (1920-2017), a native of New Haven, Connecticut, a member of the U.S. Army Nurse Corps in World War II, a graduate of Furman University, and an elementary school teacher and librarian. Hudson "built the collection from nothing, pulled together a board of directors, and established a non-profit." In 2008, the museum moved to the former Greer post office built in 1935, where its collections were displayed under the direction of another former librarian and English professor, Joada Hiatt, a native of Kentucky. After Hiatt moved from Greer and local interest in the museum had declined, the board, in 2021, chose as director, David Lovegrove, a native of Idaho and chief marketing officer for Bob Jones University. Lovegrove spearheaded a museum revitalization.

The district encompasses 13 contributing buildings in the central business district of Latta. The buildings were erected between about 1895 and 1928. They include buildings that housed a variety of mercantile establishments such as grocery stores, drugstores, a hotel, two banks, and several dry goods stores concentrated in a block east of the railroad on Main Street. Notable buildings include the Parham Building, McMillan Building, Cox Building, and Kornblut's Department Store.
Woodside Cotton Mill Village Historic District is a national historic district located in Greenville County, South Carolina. The district encompasses 278 contributing buildings and 2 contributing sites in an early 20th century urban South Carolina textile mill village. Centered on a mill founded by John T. Woodside in 1902, the district is located just west of the city limits of Greenville and is largely intact despite modernizations made by a succession of mill and home owners. The mill itself is a rectangular, brick, four-story building designed by J.E. Sirrine and built between 1902 and 1912. Eventually the mill became the largest cotton mill under one roof in the United States and one of the largest in the world.
