Hapona amira is a species of Toxopidae spider that is endemic to New Zealand. [1]
This species was described by Ray Forster in 1970 from female and male specimens. The holotype is stored in the Otago Museum. [1]
The female is recorded at 0.65mm in length whereas the male is 0.57mm. The carapace has black bands laterally. The abdomen is shaded laterally. [1]
Under the New Zealand Threat Classification System, this species is listed as "Data Deficient" with the qualifiers of "Data Poor: Size", "Data Poor: Trend" and "One Location". [2]
