Harpalus desertus is a species of ground beetle in the subfamily Harpalinae. [1] It was described by John Lawrence LeConte in 1859. [1]

Altica is a large genus of flea beetles in the subfamily Galerucinae, with about 300 species, distributed nearly worldwide.
