Hawksworth Restaurant, located in the Rosewood Hotel Georgia [1] in Vancouver, British Columbia, is a fine-dining restaurant owned by chef David Hawksworth, [2] [3] [4] [5] [6] [7] the youngest chef to be inducted into the B.C. Restaurant Hall of Fame. [4] The restaurant was named, "Restaurant of the Year" in 2012 by Maclean's. [8]
The Fairmont Hotel Vancouver, formerly and still informally called the Hotel Vancouver, is a historic hotel in Vancouver, British Columbia. Uwe Boll is a German filmmaker. He came to prominence during the 2000s for his adaptations of video game franchises. Released theatrically, the films were critical and commercial failures; his 2005 Alone in the Dark adaptation is considered one of the worst films ever made. Boll's subsequent projects, released during the 2010s, were mostly released straight to home media. After retiring in 2016 to become a restaurateur, Boll returned to filmmaking in 2022. His films are financed through his production companies Boll KG and Event Film Productions.

Lumière was a restaurant on West Broadway in the Kitsilano neighbourhood of Vancouver, Canada. It was founded by Rob Feenie and Ken Wai in 1995. The second season of the Canadian competitive reality television series MasterChef Canada premiered on CTV on February 1, 2015 and concluded on May 24. Filming began in September 2014 and wrapped up in November 2014. Portuguese-Canadian concrete contractor David Jorge won this season. Jorge, who resides on a hobby farm in the Panorama area of Surrey with his wife and two sons, also guest starred in episodes in Season 3 and Season 5, and competed in the MasterChef Canada: All-Star Family Edition 2016 holiday special, of which he was the runner-up. He is currently the oldest winner of MasterChef Canada.

Kissa Tanto is an Italian-Japanese fusion restaurant in the Chinatown neighborhood of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The 80-seat restaurant, which opened in June 2016, is on the second floor of 263 E Pender St. Its name comes from the Japanese word kissa, referring to the "jazz kissa" or jazz cafes of 1960s Tokyo, and the Italian word tanto, meaning "a lot" or "so much". Kissa Tanto is co-owned by restaurateur Tannis Ling, executive chef Joël Watanabe, and sous chef Alain Chow, who collectively envisioned it as an escapist, anachronistic concept.

Located on the ground floor of a heritage building at 269 Powell St, originally a Japanese general store, St. Lawrence serves a blend of traditional Québécois dishes and French haute cuisine.
