Hay Day is a farming simulation game where players can grow crops and feed livestock. Players can sell goods in exchange for coins and experience points. When they get enough experience points, they go up a level in the game, which unlocks more features, such as new crops, goods and livestock. The player needs to buy production buildings using coins. Diamonds are a secondary in-game currency used to buy missing goods and boost production time. Players can join neighborhoods to help other players' farms such as requesting for items to upgrade their barn and silo's storage.
British celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay had a crossover with the game Hay Day for a limited-time event that ran from 15 January to 24 January 2025. [5]
A short-lived spin-off of Hay Day, known as Hay Day Pop was created on 16 March 2020. Hay Day Pop shut down less than a year after it's release. The game was shut down on 1 February 2021. [6]
Gamezebo gave it 4/5, noting its similarity to Farmville and praising the graphics. [7] Pocket Gamer gave it a bronze award. [8]
