Hebron, Missouri

Hebron is an unincorporated community in southeastern Douglas County, Missouri, United States. [1] Hebron is located at the intersection of a county road with Hebron Hollow, which is a spring-fed tributary to the North Fork River to the southwest. Missouri Route 181 is approximately 3/4 mile to the east. [2] Hebron Boat Access and campground is located on the North Fork, about two miles to the west on Missouri Route AA. [2]

History

A post office called Hebron was established in 1905, and remained in operation until 1935. [3] The community was named after the ancient city of Hebron. [4]

The site is located on a high ridge at an elevation of 1,191 ft (363 m). Sauls Knob at 1,339 ft (408 m) lies just to the southeast on the south side of Route 14.

Roy is an unincorporated community in southwestern Douglas County, Missouri, United States. Roy is located on Missouri Route 76, south of the Goodhope junction on Missouri Route T. The village site is at an elevation of 1,263 ft (385 m) about 1.5 mile west of the Beaver Creek valley.
