Trempealeau County is a county in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. As of the 2020 census, the population was 30,760. Its county seat is Whitehall. Many people of Polish, Norwegian and German descent live in this area.
Ettrick is a town in Trempealeau County, Wisconsin. The population was 1,284 at the time of the 2000 census. The town surrounds the village of Ettrick. The unincorporated communities of Beaches Corners, Chapultepee, Hegg, Iduna, and Upper French Creek are also located in the town.
Carl Heggs is an English former professional footballer who played for 13 different clubs including West Bromwich Albion and Swansea City. Heggs was most recently manager at Hinckley United, having originally joined the club as an assistant in the summer of 2012, before resigning in May 2013. Heggs was forced out of retirement towards the end of November 2012 as Hinckley United were short for players. He was also the caretaker manager of League One side Notts County after Paul Ince was sacked in 2011.

Its zip code is 54207, although its post office is being studied for closure. As of the 2010 census, its population is 164. The Collins Marsh Wildlife Area is located east of the community. Wisconsin Highway 32 ran through the community; the route later became Wisconsin Highway 67 before it became County Highway W. County Highway JJ and the Wisconsin Central Ltd. railroad runs east–west through the community. Collins has an area of 0.496 square miles (1.28 km2), all of it land. The community was named for Sumner J. Collins, who was the general superintendent of the Wisconsin Central Railroad in the 1890s.
