Safri Duo is a Danish electronic percussion duo composed of Uffe Savery and Morten Friis. Initially classically oriented, they later made a track mixing both tribal sound and modern electronica. Released in 2000, "Played-A-Live ", became one of the most popular songs in Europe in 2001. The single and subsequent album, Episode II each sold one million units worldwide, making Safri Duo the most internationally successful Danish act since Aqua.

"The Spirit of the Hawk" is a song by Swedish musical group Rednex released from their second album, Farm Out (2000). "Played-A-Live " is a song by Danish percussion duo Safri Duo. It was released in November 2000 as the lead single from their first mainstream studio album, Episode II. The Michael Parsberg-produced song, which has a mix of tribal drums with electronic music twists, sold 1.5 million copies worldwide and became the fourth-fastest-selling single ever in Europe. The single topped the Danish Singles Chart. Outside Denmark, the single also topped the Swiss Singles Chart and peaked at number two in the Netherlands, Germany, and Belgium. It reached number six in the United Kingdom and number seven on the US Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart.
"Infinity", also known as "Infinity ", is the debut single by British acid house musician Guru Josh. It was originally released in December 1989 as the lead single from his debut album of the same name. The song was re-released in 2008 in a remixed version called "Infinity 2008", and once again in 2012 as "Infinity 2012".

Greatest Hits is a greatest hits album by Danish percussion duo Safri Duo released on 21 June 2010. It is released nearly ten years after Safri Duo scored an international hit single with "Played-A-Live" in 2001, which became the fourth fastest selling single ever in Europe, selling over 1.5 million copies worldwide. The compilation album contains songs from the duo's three commercial studio albums, Episode II (2001), 3.0 (2003), and Origins (2008). It includes the new song, "Helele", which features South African singer Velile Mchunu, and is the official trailer song for the 2010 FIFA World Cup broadcast on German television channel RTL in June–July. The album peaked at number thirty-two in Germany and twenty-three in Switzerland.

"Higher" is the fifth single from English singer-songwriter Taio Cruz's second studio album, Rokstarr. It was written and produced by Cruz and Sandy Vee, and was released on 26 November 2010. This song was originally written for Australian singer Kylie Minogue's album Aphrodite, but plans fell through. However, Cruz and Minogue recorded a version of the song for the European release, while American rapper Travie McCoy recorded guest raps for the American release. The Brazilian and United Kingdom versions have parts of McCoy's rap mixed into the Minogue version. The version on Cruz's albums feature a solo vocal by Cruz with no guest vocalist and an edited version of the solo version was added to Radio Disney's playlist.

A remix of the song entitled "Sweat" was released by French DJ David Guetta on March 4, 2011.

"One Life" is a song by the Norwegian urban duo Madcon featuring guest vocals by American recording artist Kelly Rowland. It was written by band members Yosef Wolde-Mariam and Tshawe Baqwa along with Rowland, Katerina Bramley, and TJ Oosterhuis, with production helmed by the latter. The second single to be lifted from Madcon's upcoming second studio album Icon (2013), it was released on May 13, 2013, throughout Europe.

Velile is a South African pop singer and musical actress. She became known in particular through the song "Helele", which was used by RTL and the Swiss television in the coverage of the Football World Cup 2010 in South Africa, and in Germany as the leading actress in the Hamburg production of the musical The Lion King.
