Hester Store is a historic general store located at Dacusville, Pickens County, South Carolina. It was built in 1893, and is a two-story, front-gable, weatherboard-clad building with an ashlar granite front facade. It features a full-width, single story, porch with granite pillars. The granite facade and porch were added in 1933. [2] [3]

It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2013. [1]

It was built in 1903–04, and is a small, one-story, rectangular building with a single room. The building has a gable roof, weatherboard siding, and stone foundation piers. It features a wooden wraparound porch. The building was restored in 1976, and serves as a museum and community landmark. The library operated a traveling library service from 1904 until at least 1909, perhaps the first such service in the state.

It was built about 1897–1900, and is a two-story, asymmetrical plan house in the Queen Anne style. It has a full attic and is sheathed in weatherboard. The house features a 2+12-story round turret; a one-story, shed roofed porch that stretches across the entire façade, wraps the turret, and extends to form a porte-cochère. It was built for Charles Aurelius Smith, prominent government figure as mayor of Timmonsville, member of the state house of representatives, twice lieutenant governor, and governor of South Carolina for five days.

The Jacob Wingard Dreher House, also known as Glencoe Farm, is an historic home located near Irmo, Lexington County, South Carolina. It was built about 1830–50, and is a two-story, rectangular weatherboarded frame farmhouse. It has a gable roof and features a one-story, shed-roofed porch across the front façade. A single story wing, added about 1910, is connected to the left elevation by a porch. Also on the property is a one-story, frame, weatherboarded store building, which was moved to its present location about 1945.

Vastine Wessinger House is a historic home located near Lexington, Lexington County, South Carolina. It was built about 1891, and is a two-story, rectangular, frame farmhouse. It is sheathed in weatherboard and has a truncated hip roof. The front façade features a projecting Victorian influenced, ornamented double-tiered porch. Also on the property is a contributing small, frame building used as a garage, but originally operated as a store by in the 1890s and from 1910 to 1935 as a farm commissary.

It is associated with the Morgan family, who operated a mercantile retail establishment and founders of the Bank of Central.

Williams–Ligon House, also known as Cedar Rock Plantation and Magnolia Estates, is a historic home and farm complex located Easley, Pickens County, South Carolina. The house was built in 1895, and is a two-story, frame I-house with a one-story rear addition. It features Folk Victorian decorative elements including spindle work and turned porch posts and balusters and brackets. Also on the property are a contributing barn that was the original Williams house, a smokehouse, and several mid-20th century barns and farm buildings.

It was built about 1867, and is a 2+12-story, triple-A roofed, side-gabled, L-plan, frame building with 12 rooms. It is sheathed in weatherboard and sits on a brick foundation. The front facade has a full width, one-story hip-roofed porch. The house is associated with an important program of the Quakers to improve agricultural endeavors in the South in the decades after the American Civil War.
