Hoffmannola hansi is a species of air-breathing sea slug, a shell-less marine pulmonate gastropod mollusk in the family Onchidiidae. [1]
In the original description of Hoffmannola hansi [2] the authors Eveline Marcus and Ernst Marcus examine different specimens, noting that "The biggest slug is 48mm long measured over the back (26mm lineal), 20 mm broad and 16 mm high."
The species is named after the German zoologist Hans Hoffmann.
Hoffmannola hansi is a species of air-breathing sea slug, a species which occurs in the Pacific coast of Mexican, from the Gulf of California (Baja California Norte, Sonora, Sinaloa) to Oaxaca. [3]
Opisthobranchs is a now informal name for a large and diverse group of specialized complex gastropods which used to be united in the subclass Opisthobranchia. That taxon is no longer considered to represent a monophyletic grouping.
Onchidiidae are a family of small, air-breathing sea slugs. They are shell-less marine pulmonate gastropod molluscs. Onchidiidae is the only family within the superfamily Onchidioidea.
Onchidella is a genus of small, air-breathing sea slugs, shell-less marine pulmonate gastropod molluscs in the family Onchidiidae.
Leidyula floridana, common name the Florida leatherleaf, is a species of tropical air-breathing land slug, shell-less terrestrial pulmonate gastropod mollusks in the family Veronicellidae.
Discodorididae is a taxonomic family of sea slugs, specifically dorid nudibranchs, marine gastropod mollusks in the superfamily Doridoidea.
Stramentopappus is a genus of Mexican plants in the tribe Vernonieae within the family Asteraceae.
Taringa is a genus of sea slugs, dorid nudibranchs, shell-less marine gastropod mollusks in the family Discodorididae.

Onchidella binneyi, also known as Onchidella carpenteri, Onchidium carpenteri, and Oncidiella hildae, is a species of air-breathing sea slug, a shell-less marine pulmonate gastropod mollusk in the family Onchidiidae.
Onchidella steindachneri is a species of air-breathing sea slug, a shell-less marine pulmonate gastropod mollusk in the family Onchidiidae.
Sarasinula plebeia, commonly called the bean slug or the Caribbean leatherleaf slug, is a species of air-breathing land slug, a terrestrial pulmonate gastropod mollusk in the family Veronicellidae, the leatherleaf slugs.
Peronia is a genus of air-breathing sea slugs, a shell-less marine pulmonate gastropod mollusks in the family Onchidiidae. These slugs differ from other onchidiid slugs in having branched "gills" on their dorsal side, although these can be retracted. More than two dozen species of Peronia have been described from the Indo-West Pacific, but a recent revision of the genus determined that 21 of these names are synonyms. Nine species of Peronia are recognized, most of which can differentiated only by examining their internal anatomy or with DNA sequencing.
Sarasinula is a genus of air-breathing land slugs in the family Veronicellidae, the leatherleaf slugs.
Sarasinula dubia is a species of air-breathing land slug, a terrestrial pulmonate gastropod mollusk in the family Veronicellidae, the leatherleaf slugs.

Tayuva is a genus of sea slugs, dorid nudibranchs, shell-less marine gastropod mollusks in the family Discodorididae.
Ginglymostoma unami, also known as the Pacific nurse shark is a nurse shark of the family Ginglymostomatidae. It is found in southeastern coast of Baja California, Mexico to Costa Rica including Gulf of California. It is 2.8 meters long. This species differs from Ginglymostoma cirratum between posterior end of the second dorsal fin and the beginning of the caudal lobe, both being shorter; the new species also differs by the position of the insertion of the first dorsal fin with regard to the pelvic fins and in the form and number of keels on the dermal denticles and teeth morphology. The Ginglymostoma unami was previously recognized as G.cirratum exhibiting a divided distribution of a species in the northern half of the Atlantic Ocean. However, that species is now considered to be restricted to just the Atlantic Ocean.
