Hologram is the first Japanese extended play by South Korean singer Key. It was released digitally on December 21, 2018, through EMI Records, with its physical release following on December 26, 2018.
Key made his debut as a solo artist in November 2018 with the studio album Face . [1] On December 5, 2018, it was revealed that he was planning to release his first Japanese extended play, including four original Japanese songs and the Japanese version of his Korean single "One of Those Nights". The cover artwork was designed by the illustrator Chocomoo in collaboration with Key. [2] The songs "Hologram" and "Why Are You Here" were broadcast on J-Wave on December 12 and 13. [3] The digital edition was released on December 21 and the physical edition was released on December 26. [2] [4] To promote the EP, Key held a live event titled Key Land at World Memorial Hall in Kobe on December 22 and Yokohama Arena on December 25. [5]
Lead single and title track "Hologram" is retro-inspired, setting the tone for the rest of the EP. "Why Are You Here" is a duet with CoCo, and the lyrics concern romantic misunderstandings between a man and a woman. "Power" was written and composed by L'Arc-en-Ciel member Tetsuya, and is described as "hybrid rock groove". "City Girl" is about the feeling of being in love from the perspective of a city boy. [2]

Shinee is a South Korean boy band formed by SM Entertainment in 2008. The group originally consisted of five members: Onew, Key, Minho, Taemin, and Jonghyun, until the latter died in 2017. The group's musical impact in their native country has earned them numerous accolades and the title "Princes of K-pop".
Kim Ki-bum, better known by his stage name Key, is a South Korean singer and television personality. Born and raised in Daegu, South Korea, he later moved to Seoul after a successful audition at the SM National Tour Audition Casting. In May 2008, Key debuted as a member of South Korean boy group Shinee, who later went on to become one of the best-selling artists in South Korea. Key is widely recognized as a singer and dancer, but he has also ventured into different careers, notably as a television presenter.
Lee Jin-ki, better known by his stage name Onew, is a South Korean singer, songwriter, actor, and host. Born in Gwangmyeong, Gyeonggi-do, Onew was discovered at the 2006 SM Academy Casting and signed a contract with SM Entertainment the day after his audition. He debuted as the lead vocalist and leader of the boy group Shinee in May 2008, who went on to become one of the best-selling artists in South Korea.
2009, Year of Us is the third extended play (EP) by South Korean boy group Shinee. It consists of six tracks and it incorporates alternative rock and hip-hop music genres. The digital version of the album was released on October 19, 2009, with a physical release on October 22. The title track, "Ring Ding Dong", was released on October 14, 2009, through various music sites.
Lee Tae-min, better known mononymously as Taemin, is a South Korean singer, actor, and dancer. He debuted as a member of the boy band Shinee in May 2008 and the supergroup SuperM in 2019, both under SM Entertainment, and has subsequently been labeled by media outlets as the "Idol's Idol" due to the large number of idols citing him as an inspiration. As an actor, Taemin's first role was as Junsu in the 2009 MBC comedy Tae-Hee, Hye-Kyo, Ji-Hyun.

Bad Love is the first Korean extended play by South Korean singer Key. It was released on September 27, 2021, through SM Entertainment. Marketed as his first "mini album" release, it consists of six songs, including the singles "Hate That..." and "Bad Love". The EP was Key's first solo release since returning from the military. Conceptually, it follows a retro space theme, inspired by the science fiction films of the 1980s and 1990s. It peaked at number three on South Korea's Gaon Album Chart and received positive reviews from music critics.
